spending hours on my old 286 Radio Shack computer building worlds watching single cell life blossom watching the interactions of everything it was just such a place to spend time
SimEarth was originally released in 1990. I remember playing it at a friend's place as a kid, and while we honestly had no idea how to play it, it was a blast anyway!

This game was one of my gateways into gaming world. It also managed to get me a better grade in geology - not quite sure how I picked up on all the science and history stuff while playing but it worked. I would spent crazy amounts of hours doing things to try to exterminate life or advance a species. It was just good time and not a game anyone has ever tried to remake
