Story:Knights of the Temple II is a 3rd Person Action-Adventure with non-linear game play, interactive dialog system, trade mode, side quests, RPG elements, alternative endings and multiplayer. KOTT2 is a game showing the player the ultimate fight of Paul de Raque, grandmaster of the Order of the Temple and hero of the first game, with the forces of Hell. Traveling the lands and kingdoms of Europe of the 13th century, he must reveal the secret of the three ancient artifacts and fight the demon armies attacking our world.
As a grandmaster of the Order of the Temple has Paul de Raque fought many battles in the eternal war between good and evil. But now he stands before his greatest challenge. Visions of evil forces invading our world, undead beings ravaging the lands of northern Europe and a dark menace opening a portal closed millennia ago. Got this game twice on my birthday (from father, and best friend), which had strange bug when jumping I would hover above the ground for a short while, and then take damage or just die. I never finished the game because of that, and lost the disc long time ago. Maybe on GOG there would be some sort of patch, fix or maybe luck on my side which would lead me to finally playing whole way through and expierience the game from childhood.
When I was a kid, I used to play this game without knowing anything about its story. Then, while I was fighting the Saracens, I discovered goblins and monsters in the sewers. An amazing mix of reality and fantasy, a true European vision.
There are 4 things I remember this game for:
1. NPC that I kept bothering to say "As-Salāmu ʿAlaykum" - "„wa `alejkum salam”, until I learned what it means and how to say it.
2. Barkeep wanting 10 black pearls from me, and telling me I can't count, because I kept visiting him before I had that amount.
3. Being told by 3 wraiths that they will only let me pass after I pay the price dependent on how much blood I already spilled - it wasn't much, but I killed these 3 anyway.
4. Slaying the devil, "Dante's Inferno" style.
A while ago me and two friends got an old PS2 and while trying out our collections of PS2 games we came across this game. The setting (I'm a big assassins creed fan), plus the jankiness plus the fact that one of my friends was tripping balls due to a recent vaccine made the night a blast. I'll treasure that memory forever.

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed.
The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo.
As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity.
Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control.
