The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

The game ist awesome and I bought it twice, both on gog an steam, but the next gen update broke it for me. I am a linux user and played the old GOG Version on my PC through. I started the steam-version game+ on my Deck and it worked fine until the "next gen" update was installed automatically. [b]First[/b] - an extra launcher in steam? are you kidding? who the ... needs "yet another launcher in launcher"? If the people would like to use your launcher they would buy the game on gog and use your launcher (if they can). Like I has at first. Although your launcher has no native linux support. I bought the game on GOG first (to support the "good minded developers who are on gamers side") and played it with galaxy+wine/proton. We, the linux users, were asking for linux version of your stupid launcher for years (and this is the most requested feature of gog galaxy of all time btw.). You have even marked the "feature request" as "work in progress" so we hoped you will deliver. But the years have passed and nothing have changed, besides the status of this feature request is no more "work in progress". [b]So you lied. Again.[/b] So planty of linux users have stopped buying stuff from gog. Me too. [b]Second[/b] - after the update the steam version stopped working (on my machines with linux). On my PC it is just a black screen. No sound. No video. No game. On the steam deck it is endless loading. I do not know why. I do not know how good the new GOG version works, I have not and will not try it because I have stopped using gog and I do not care anymore at this point Conclusion: RED2.0 is shait like expected. The do not deserve your money

I've been playing computer games for 20+ years, and I can honestly say that I've not found a more satisfying and complete experience than this one. The game is exceptional on all fields: plot versatility, character depth, moral choices, visuals, music, combat system... It's a game that belongs to a very small subset of games (if not the only one of its kind) that manages to pair storytelling and dynamic combat so well. It also provides for SO MUCH replay value, especially if you're accustomed to playing on a lower difficulty level, and would then want to increase it, as was the case with me. - Visuals Words cannot do it justice, just go look at a gameplay video. I've had Geralt stood on a hill or mountain somewhere just so I would have a beautiful backdrop on my monitor. All quests have a cinematic quality to them that adds to the storytelling experience. - Music The score is perfectly suited to every situation. You'll get that distinct Slavic folklore feeling in most fairytale situations, and beautifully orchestrated melodies in others. - Voice acting In past years my biggest gripe with games was sub-par voice acting, but this game has none of that. Every developed character has an equally developed emotional spectrum to back him/her. - Story and plot It's better if you've played the previous games beforehand, or have been otherwise familiarized with the Witcher universe. The game re-introduces characters and plot elements that have a rich background, and wastes little time on repeating itself. However, you will be able to enjoy it even if you're new to the series, guaranteed. It has just enough hooks so you can get familiar with them. As for the story itself, it is very well written, and endlessly intriguing. Both expansions bring something new to the table as well. If you're thinking about it, if you're doubtful whether you'll like this type of games, then stop. Just buy it.

CD Projekt is love, CD Projekt is life. This game is a masterpiece. I don't like rpgs and mmos but I like this game a lot. Thank you CD Projekt for making this awesome game and being player friendly.

Was soll man zu diesem Spiel denn noch sagen. Es hat einfach alles was man braucht und will. Kann ich jedem nur an Herz legen. Die DLCs erst was ein Hammer Spiel. Habe nicht umsont 300h investiert :D und es werden noch mehr folgen.!
