The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Dieses Spiel ist einfach nur der Hammer! Sicher hat es einige kleine Schwächen, wie beispielsweise die Unklarheit darüber, was für Dinge man wozu braucht. Ergebnis: Du hast gefühlt 100 000 Dinge im Rucksack und hast keine Ahnung, wozu Du das ein oder Andere gebrauchen kannst. Aber dieses Manko wird regelrecht pulverisiert vom sagenhaften Spielerlebnis. Hochachtung vor all den Menschen die dieses Spiel entwickelt haben. Dieses sagenhafte Spiel nimmt dich einfach gefangen. So etwas wird sicherlich nur schwer zu toppen sein! DANKE!!!

This is a stodgy, uninspired but well-made action-adventure game with some basic RPG mechanics. The only thing that kept me playing was the story & scenery... especially the scenery - hats-off to the environment artists. Gameplay is mostly combat with some token RPG elements (including grind unfortunately), weak character development, stilted dialogue, few choices. Hated Geralt, hated his appearance, voice, personality, his cringeworthy cut-scenes, hated having to look at him take-up screen-space all the damn time. Hated how he always asked for money even though the loot was far more valuable... where I'm from this is extremely distasteful behavior. Also found his relationships with other NPCs to be unconvincing, which harmed the main story. Loved Dijkstra and Zoltan, the Barron, Johnny and the bog crones, Roche and Radovid were also pretty interesting. Found Skellige & Toussaint characters were too bullshitty & comical to care about. Game mechanics are basic: limited character progression and customization, limited controls, super-simple magic system, limited dialogue options. There is no inbuilt console (have to install from a 3rd party source), lacks a noclip command to get around the bullshit parts of the game like not being able to climb over an easily climbable scaffold. NPC handling is standard lifeless MMO theme-park style: roaming cardboard cutouts with a basic routine. Enemies congregate in clusters, usually around loot and respawn quickly (except named enemies). There is no NPC economy or ecology. Felt alone in the game. Player actions have little noticeable impact on the world.

THE GOOD The story is superb. cutscenes are amazing Combat is smooth, though often too easy because you can dodge anything anytime. THE BAD After deciding for a completely new approach to exploration, The Witcher 3 became an Open-world exploration game, differently from the 2 predecessors. In previous Witcher games, as well as other RPG's like Dragon Age, quests followed a certain formula. There were quests showing you on the map exactly where you have to go and there were quests which invited you to be a bit more inquisitive. The way you accquired quests could depend on your own curiosity often times. In the Witcher 3, however, you DO NOT have this second kind of quest. EVERY SINGLE QUEST is shown on the map. Even when Geralt is not supposed to know the excact location of someone, there it is: a big yellow mark showing exactly which house you have to go to. Any quest instrucion is completely unecessary. You don't need to worry about witcher investigation either because the game does it for you, with big red markings on where you have to click. But wait, the game still offers you lots of opportunity to discover interesting places, the map is big and you'll get to explore all that, right? NO. Any undiscovered point of interest is already marked on your map. Put that together with the fact that TW3 has hundreds of side quests, and you just got yourself a tiresome, boring job of running from point of interest to point of interest, going from one big yellow mark on the map to another, until someone gives you some reaward. To sum up this game doesn't want you to read anything quest-related, it doesn't want you to be curious. RPGwise, this game is definitely a step back, after so many interesting improvements in other RPG's, Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 included.

Wow. What an amazing game. I really wasn't into these kind of games that involve the slashing and looting but honestly I enjoyed every moment of running around the different maps. I wasn't too thrilled on the long cutscenes as I enjoy the gameplay much more however they did a great job at delivering me the story at an easy pace to understand as a first time witcher player.

Graphics - Amazing, one of the best looking open world games I've ever played and still holds up great, especially loved the character models and environments, really made the dialogues and cut senses feel cinematic and engaging no oblivion style gaping magickarp staring at you here, the world looks and feels alive and the visuals and characters combine with the excellent writing to really make you feel immersed. Story - The Real highlight for me this one, . Taking in huge variety of locations, characters and side quests all excellently written and stylised . When I say one of the best told stories in gaming I mean the presentation here is top notch, excellent voice acting, quality dialogue a complicated and immersive world full of subtlety even the cinematography and camera angles combines with music in cutscenes and dialogue is great. The ultimate big bag does prove a tad disappointing but with multiple endings based on past actions and choices I really enjoyed the conclusion all in all. Gameplay - I'd describe it as a refinement of the witcher 2s gameplay. Combat still involves a mix of light and heavy attacks, dodges, rolls, bombs , potions oils and witcher signs and flows a better than in the witcher 2 with a better skil tree and progression, ultimately it did end up becoming a bit repetitive though and even on highest difficulty I found most fights becoming very formulaic maybe I'm just a cheese lord but quen doge, roll and light attack were enough for 90 percent of fights then again we're taking over 200 hours of gameplay here so anything's bound to get stale. Conclusion: Easily my favourite game in the Series and a triumph of storytelling and open world game design. Sets a bar for the art of storytelling in video games I spent 15 yoyos on the GOTY edition and got 200 hours out of it and although I did tire of the gameplay by the end, was well worth the time. Recommended to all who love a well told story and immersive world.
