Must play for RPG lovers

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is the only Witcher game from the franchise I have started playingn because I like to play games in the order they were made. And I recommend you do the same. The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is/can be really punishing, if it's your first time playing The Witcher. If you like RPG games, then you should play this. It is very unique in my opinion. So give it a try! But if it's your first time playing an RPG.. The I recommend starting with something else. Because as i said: "The Witcher: Enhanced Edition is very punishing"

A wonderful game!

This game was absolutely awesome! I'm pretty picky about RPGs because they're so monotonous, but The Witcher was unique and had an amazing story. The moral choices in the game are so powerful and fun because there's never a clear answer as to what is "good." It's all up to you. The combat system did a good job at remaining simple, yet dynamic and keeping you on your toes. The reaction-based attacks, while having to make sure you were using the appropriate weapon and fighting style for the situation felt really fresh, even though it's a fairly old game. My only big problem with the game is how long it takes to go from quest to quest, because the world is very large (and beautiful), and most of the quests involve running from one end of the map to the other over and over, and Geralt runs at a realistic speed...slowly. lol It can be manageable if you manage your time wisely and do everything you can regarding all your quests in one area before moving to another area to continue a quest, if I worded that right. Overall, I'm really glad I played it, and I'm excited to play parts 2 and 3.

Terrible Gameplay, excellent story

The story is incredible, and honestly is the only reason I could finish the game. It approaches Dragon Age 2 levels of asset reuse, the voice acting is mediocre, there are tons of bugs (never had a game crash this often without it being my fault for the tons of mods I was running), and the combat isn't fun at all. I have to say, this is one very over-hyped game.

My favourite RPG of all time

Regardless of how amazing the second and third game are, this one will always be my favourite. It's a little rough around the edges, but the engaging storyline and atmosphere more than make up for its shortcomings.
