SURGE 2 IS FULL OF CRASHES!
This was 1of the games I was very excited about. Worked fine for about 1 hour before the crashing began. I updated ny drivers, my windows copy and still mores crashes. I turned v-sync to off and now get the a new error message. The "FLR ERROR". I am running a R7 2700x, 16GB CL 14 3200 MHZ Ram and a GTX 1080Ti. Completely disappointed. DO NOT BUY!

Die idee des spiels mag gut sein das wars dann auch schon..wenn man schon den ersten boss gegner nicht schafft frustet das, es ist egal was ich mache mit tastatur controller untreffbar

miserable mechanic
I finished the first game multiple times, this one got de-installed after a couple of hours. But why? First and most of all: the new blocking-mechanic. It is not working. Not at all. If I try it just before impact, it is already too late. If way before, too early. And way too many times my aimed body part gets switched, because of same stick usage. Great job. Second: the medi-bays got remeoved. Now we have some stupid "toilet-containers", which are dropped into the world. It really feels like taht: world was builded first, and the containers dropped afterwards. It feels like littering garbage now. My core power is on 19 and I still cant fully equip the first armor I have. And of course im getting already new stuff... Not good balancing at all here. The bad intro sequence was a let down. cool: play the first bit as a human! Not so cool: two min after that you get the exo-rig OFF SCREEN. It is not an event, just "here you have it now". Why dont they give it to me right from the beginning then? Social features are stuff you dont need and look more like a copy from Dark souls (i think). The graphics arent looking right to me, too. It lacks of atmosphere and moodyness. The first had abandoned factory parts with dark and even brighter lightning. This one has broken Half Life 2 civil war streets and buildings. Everything is bright, in some places too dark. But not working right. All in all Im not happy with this one and reinstalling the first instead.

[FLR] Error CRASH TO DESKTOP 😒👎🤚
Stay away until [FLR] Error is eradicated from the game. It seems that this has been a problem since launch. They claimed to have fixed the issue and now it has returned bigger and more bold as ever after the Kraken Update. I waited to buy 3 months after release, in order to avoid such issues. But the Vulkan API is borked in this game. Yes there are people that have no problems (so they say) But what they aren't telling you is that you have to tweak the crap out of the settings and if you try playing this game above the Medium preset it will crash to desktop with the [FLR] Error. What you have to ask yourself is, do you want to take such a risk with your money. If the answer is yes then by all means go ahead. If you can wait, wait. I have a very beefy rig and i have to play the game on Medium presets in order to get it to function. I love and adore ths franchise but The Surge 2 is my greatest disappointment so Far in 2020. I'm seriously considering a REFUND. This is what you have to look forward to every 5 minutes or even before you load the game into the play area.
