Beautiful, beautiful Game

This game is a comeback to the usual point and click adventure games. The game starts somewhat slow and the characters are not your usual hero or clumsy comedic actor. Instead you have a boy, Geron, that you grow to like and understand as the story unfolds. A fairy girl named Nuri that is as sweet and naive as it could get with which you will defently fall in love. The art is beautiful and the music transports you in each scene that is like a painting. I personally liked the story a lot with out super heroes but still of epic proportions. The puzzles aren't to hard but they get more complicated or irrational towards the end. If you are looking for a visually beautiful game that is a point and click adventure you should play this game.

Very enjoyable but hard at times

I really liked the story and the characters. The game is not easy. While some puzzles will only take you minutes, others I spent a good bit of time trying to solve. Unfortunately I had to look into a guide 2-3 times and it was always because there was something I haven't spotted, so keep your eyes opened! Enjoy the story and don't rush it! I also recommend you spend some time in the main menu just listening to the game's beautiful soundtrack :)

Had a good time

It seems I am pretty bad at this game if I count the number of time I had to check a solution, but that didn't prevented me from having fun with the game; maybe an in-game hint system could have been useful. I enjoyed the world, even if I didn't know anything about the Dark Eye before playing. Characters weren't that developed, but they fit the style of game and story.

Classic adventure set in a fantasy world

Bought this game on whim when it was on a discount. I love classic adventure point and click games and I wasn't disappointed by this one. It is definitely good but it's also a bit cliche at some moments. However, it's a good adventure game in the spirit of the old 80's and 90's adventure point & click games. It reminds me a bit of the old King's Quest games. The puzzles are logical and increase in difficulty and complexity as you progress throughout the game (they may seem a bit to easy in the beginning but this grows). The pacing in puzzle difficulty is well done. The scenes are drawn beautifully and the story is interesting. All the speech is voiced (pretty good, not great). All in all it's solid and fun adventure point & click adventure.

Solid point&click, not perfect

Visuals and voice acting are quite good. The story is good, but the characters are not very interesting, maybe they would work better for teenagers but I don't know. As usual with these kind of games, the puzzles have to be logical, otherwise it's frustrating to try every combination. It's mostly there, but I particularly hated that you sometimes have to go back to a place without a good reason, and something is changed (for instance at the bathhouse). Fortunately there aren't many such instances.
