One of the best Point & Click adventures
Chains of Satinav ( and it's sequel Memoria) is one of my favorites Adventure games of all time. Be it the Story , pacing, puzzles, etc. It just fits seemlessly together to craft this cozy game. Just sit back and enjoy

Very Pretty, Some poor characterisation
I'm glad there are institutions like Daedalic making techically sound point and click adventures. But I wish they would get some writers to understand that an annoying lead characters are detrimental to the enjoyment of the game. This game has loads of good things going for it. I would recommend playing it if you like point and click adventures proviiding it didn't cost more than maybe $20 or equivalent. Positives: Pretty graohics, Really good effort here. Intuitive interface, Left or right click does what you need and its easy to figure out from thereon. nice though unexceptional soundtrack, puzzles that are relatively sensible Negatives: Verging on dull plot, (although i think this is in keeping with the initial RPG this was based on) Monotonic voice acting at times. The REALLY bad point: The 'sidekick' character. The player controlled character is a bit dull but not actively irritating. *very minor spoiler coming* Near the beginning of the game you come across a fairy who you try to help. This becomes a large part of the main character's goals. Unfortunately she is clueless at best, unhelpful (if you want to be polite) and eventually a counterproductive pain in the backside. I'm afraid that side character puts a downer on the game. A damsel in distress that ends up being brainless and counterproductive. She is really hard to like. Everything else,is fine. Nothing special but a solid production with one really annoying flaw.

Wonderful story telling and soundtrack
I enjoyed this a lot. Wonderful story telling, great fantasy world, absolutely beautiful soundtrack.... The art is very pretty too. I was not sure I liked the static caracters, but I grew to like it. The puzzles are reasonable and nothing too complicated. I used the walkthrough 2 or 3 times, but I realised afterwards I would have figured it out if I thought a bit more. I give it 4 stars though because sometimes the subtitles did not much what the caracters were saying, and also the ending could have been longer. It felt like it was too rushed, without any proper epilogue. Besides that, great game. Totally recommend it

A fun game set in a beautiful world.
A fun old-school point-and-click adventure with beautiful hand-painted visuals, mostly fun puzzles and a well-balanced gameplay - very rarely does one get stuck, but it's still challenging. The only two downsides are the voice acting in English (play it in German if you can) and the animations - not because they were low quality, there should just be more of them to make the game feel more polished. What I probably loved the most about the game is the world of Schwarze Auge - a nice balance of a fairytale story and dark fantasy elements.

Nuri my Love
First: characters cool in principal, the only thing they could elaborated on the two main character a bit more. Somehow in the first half hour I felt bored. Once you get audience with the King you'll pick up the thread it leads you through the land of fairies, orc camp, mountain passages, town of smugglers, etc... At that point, all of a sudden the story became interesting, though Nuri's background's left a unexplained. Story is flowing nice and even, and the puzzles aren't to hard to struggle with. I very missed that cutscenes and videos are very minimal and short. Not to mention the last one. Wonderful artwork is amazing though animations kept at minimal . The adventure's lenght plentiful but you probably gonna feel it has not ended. Nevertheless, this is a prominent adventure, this fantasy world is very elaborated, but unfortunately not the main characters. I recommend anyone who believes in good, likes medieval - fantasy world, ... ... and likes happy ending (part 2).
