Just more of the same whicch is awesome!
The campaign once more fills in some blanks from the previous games in the series and offers great fanservice for fans of the entire series. It is even more polished than the base game. I loved it to bits.

Mixed feelings
I have very mixed feelings regarding this Addon; on the one hand I absolutely love the Spellforce 3 maingame and it's writing, the takes on the worldbuilding and all; Soul Harvest still has some of these elements, the quality of dialogue writing is fantastic, the game is beautiful again and the gameplay fun. However, many aspects of the story feel like someone (the main writer?) wanted to make something up on their own and didn't care for the wider Spellforce worldbuilding and narrative themes at all; it just clashes.

Great! except terrible encounter design
Overrall I really do recommend this game. The graphics are great, the mechanics are fun and interesting. In particular the take on the rts base and resource gathering is very different in this one. I took two points off for some of the abyssmal encounter designs in the campaign. I was playing on Hard, maybe the poor choices wouldn't have impacted it so much on Normal difficulty. But the way some things are put together just made me want to pull my hair out at times.

Wunderbares Spiel
Das Tutorial ist sehr gut, genau wie das Spiel. Text und Sprache kann man auf deutsch einstellen. Was ich allerdings vermisse, ist ein kostenloser DLC, den es ohne Probleme bei steam gibt: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1161740/SpellForce_3_Soul_Harvest__Oktoberfest/ Ja, es ist der Oktoberfest DLC! Bitte, liebe Leute von GOG, seid so nett und liefert den doch nach! Danke!
