Really great game and good final of trilogy

Lovely graphics, wonderfully fitting music and a heart-touching story. The gameplay is not too demanding. The puzzles are relatively simple and logical. In my opinion it goes more in the direction of a visual novel. It actually captivated me so much that I played through it in one weekend. Even though I now know the end of the triology, I'm almost considering playing parts 1 and 2 of the series after all. I can only recommend the game to anyone who likes story-rich games.

This game is well written and is worth playing. I can’t believe it’s being given away for free today. It’s scary, great graphics, and alternative endings. A must have for any point and click adventure game enthusiast. Waiting for Burnhouse Lane on gog. -o.w.

If you did not like The Cat Lady/Downfall then Lorelai won't change anything for you. If you've played and liked these games, there is a possibility you will enjoy it at least a bit. The game looks and feel a bit different from the 2 previous games-personally i would preffer if the games had the graphics of its predecessors. Also would prefer if they would bring back the controls from the rpevious games (maybe there is the option to in controls settings-did not check so maybe iam just stupid). Story itself is quiet enjoyable but still not as good as Cat Lady or Downfall (just my opinion). The happy ending is way too easy to get on your 1st playthrough if you pay attention to your surroundings. In the end i would recommend this game for people who like mature and dark themes in videogames. If you are not in these things then you won't enjoy Lorelai much.

I like playing games because of their story not mechanics. The sad thing is that the storytelling of most games is very shallow. Maybe a lot of people want action games were you walk around, collect loot or just shoot everything that gets in your way. I don`t. Thus Lorelai is exactly what I`m looking for - an interactive movie. To me it is a mix of the following gernes: crime / adventure / phantasy with a pinch of horror and a lot of sadness. The nature of an interactive story leads you to interact with people and solve a few puzzles - like in point and click adventures. There seam to be also a few points in the story where you can decide about your actions, so it`s not completely linear I gues. To me this is a perfect idea for an interactive story. At the moment I can`t tell more about this, because I`ve only played it throught once. So, if you also like story telling games go buy it, otherwhise have a look for something else. I used a 360 gamepad. Took me almost 8 hours to play through. Due to my old gfx card (R7 370) I moticed one or two missing textures. The rest seamed OK.
