one of the best games of all time
I grew up with this game and this is an excellent and true version of the game. It did take a bit of work with getting and installing certain patches to run but works flawlessly after that. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys 90s or early 3D games!

Enjoyable but repetitive
Heavily inspired by the Tomb Raider games, this game easily offers around 50 hours in a playthrough, assuming you don't stick your nose in a walkthrough every time you get a little stuck. The game is enjoyable overall, but is marred by needlessly complex and fiddly controls. You'll do a lot of exploration, puzzle solving and gunning down Russian communists. And watching Indy do a straight jump up and down instead of trying to climb whatever you want him to climb. A few of the later stages, namely 11 (the ship), 12 (the pyramids) and 13 (the mines) stand out as exceptional. Had most of the stages been of this quality, the game would have been a 4/5. And a 5/5 with simpler, faster, and less fiddly controls.

Best Indy Game since 2Ds
This game is simply amazing, the story is interesting, the mechanics are fun, the maps are adventurous and with stuff to discover and every piece of gameplay feels rewarding and fun. I'd take this game a million times over Emperor's Tomb (which I regard as the worst of all Indy games), because it's simply superior in every aspect. If you want a fun and adventurous Indiana Jones game, with a good runtime (it's almost 20 hours depending on your style which is an absurd lot for a game of that time), interseting things to find, and interesting story and a simple yet entertaining gameplay then this is definitely the game for you.
