Deeply enjoyed the game

Had such a great time with the game, finding secretes, learning the lore, and of course fighting the enemies. Pick your preferred play style, develop it, and enjoy the game. I dont think I had any particular bugs others had challenges with. Souls meets Event Horizon (the movie), but with its own character. Died plenty of times, but came back for more and enjoyed the good ending. Cheers to the hard working developers of this title, the love is shown in the game and appreciated by the player!

Got it at giveaway

This was my first souls-like and i highly enjoyed it, compared to others in this genre (from what i saw when others played) this is definitly not as hard, it gives a good challange here and there, but nothing too difficultt. Finished it in 19 and a half hours, so not too long nor too short. There isn't a huge variety of amors or weapons. Lots of secrets, hidden nook and cranies. But for someone like me its a great introduction souls game, it was fun.

Incredible exploration-focused Soulslike

I should start by saying that the Fromsoft Soulsborne games are my favourite series, and I love playing similar games. With that said, Hellpoint had, without question, the best sense of exploration in any game I've ever played. There is so much hidden and obscure to discover, uncover and puzzle out, it kept me thoroughly enthralled through multiple playthroughs, across PS4 and Switch. Excited to jump in again on PC, and eagerly awaiting more news on the PS5-native version. Plus, devs are super nice, super approachable and have fantastic tastes in metal.

Ho. Ly. Cow.

First "souls-like" game I've ever played, and I really didn't like it much at first. Hellpoint has the slow-burn, subtle psychology of a Denis Villeneuve film. From frustration with each new element to the moment when it "clicks", there's a lot to enjoy here. Choices in character builds, equipment modifications, and the like are relevant, but the whole thing feels both streamlined and arcane. Sword-fighting humongous spectral creatures on a vast space station orbiting a black hole tens of thousands of years into the future? The bizarre and the conventional sit side-by-side in this blend of dark magical sci-fi futurism.

Underrated

I liked it very much. Most (not all) bugs are history .I had a fluent Gameplay Experience The Atmosphere and Leveldesign is very good, the fights are mostly a bit easier as in DS.
