Fun game BUT

I love the concept - storyline is good, graphics/art style is great. Only encountered one glitch when a part got wedged and refused to fall. BUT Theres no challenge. - literally move the mouse around and let stuff fall in with a few obvious puzzles mixed in. Needs more harder puzzles or more stuff to fall in or something. Too short - easily beatable in a hour of actual game play. While the text chat is good and entertaining content, the fact you have to click or space bar after every single dang comment gets old fast. Think back to the days of powerpoint where you could play a sound for every letter appearing on yoru slide. If you click or space bar it fills the rest of it in but then you have to click or space bar again for it to bring up the next animated chat... Was expecting Katamari esque game which it is and does it beautifully - just feels like a demo... Worth buying if under $8...

The best puzzle game of 2018 so far

With such a unique and creative idea as controlling a hole in the ground the rules are both simple enough to not require a tutorial for people to understand what to do and engaging enough to keep people interested until the game's credits sequence. The soundtrack beautifully compliments the artstyle and world invisioned by the creators. I was surprised to find myself more captiovated by the story than I was the main mechanic of the game which is weird because I didn't think there would be a story at all. My problems with the game, though small are the lack of animation in its cutscenes and the lack of voice acting but with the humour it adds personality not only to the story overall but each character residing within it so even though the jokes didn't make me laugh I enjoyed hearing them. Plus there's an entire minigame in the credits section. The puzzles are well constructed with each new obstacle or ability like the catapult were added at a level a time as to not feel overwhelming and so that the levels don't get repetetive and mundane over time, keeping things feeling refreshing whilst increasing in difficulty gradually. In short it's well designed and if you know me that's always what I look for in a game. I'm kinda surprised something so good could be made from the unity engine

Worth every penny

It won.t change your life, and the replay value is kinda "eh" but the music, characters, and the whole feel of the game is sheer delight, you'll destroy it in an afternoon and laugh the HOLE time! (I regret no puns)

A bad gameplay with a good idea

Buy this game for 17yuan and finish. I'd want to say it's a really good idea to create a hole and destory/pick everything. But the gameplay didn't free enough to make this idea fun. But i must praise final mission. It use all mechanism in other missons, in truth it's a good level design.

Short but nice puzzle game

Donut County was first released for smartphones - and it shows. While the gameplay and the controls are rather simple, the game itself is strangely pleasant. Your goal in each level is to swallow various objects with a remote controlled, ever growing hole in the ground. Sometimes there are little puzzles, but they are very easy. The story is simplistic, but funny. The art style is minimalistic as is the music, but not in a bad way. The game is also very short: I finished it in under 2 hours (of course there were still some achievements left). Before you buy keep in mind that this is a game originally designed for smartphones, so do not expect too much. I got it in a sale and I do not think that the game is worth its full price, especially if the game only costs $5 in the App Store (with the same content apparently). More levels and more puzzles would have been nice.
