Cyberpunk 2077

I finished the game and enjoyed it a ton. For every thing I enjoyed, it felt like there were three things that were either missing, or done badly. The PC optimization is bad, specially on launch day. It has gotten better with 1.04, but not even remotely as good as what it was advertised as. PC controls seem wonky, and AI is downright atrocious, and seriously don't play this game on the harder difficulties (especially not the boxing matches), as it you will get one shotted multiple times. On top of that, AI spawning is weird. I used to think it was just police that used to spawn behind you, but that was a lie, enemies sometimes do too. The economy is downright broken. Sometimes if you are having a conversation, two lines may happen at once, basically on top of each. This includes npcs, phone calls and others (terrible mixing at times too). Other times, the map feels so empty. I don't mean missions or anything, I mean empty in the sense where npcs feel hollow. They don't just ignore you, they just say a strange line that doesn't seem to belong, and other times, they behave so weirdly, it makes you wonder if you are playing the same game you sat down to play. On the plus side, the ost is wonderful, so good in fact, I'm glad I bought the physical copy just to get a copy. I also love the art direction, and just the graphics. The side quest are very good and meaningful, and you can clearly see that they were polished (even though not as much as what was promised). On top of that, the facial animation is so spot on, you can kind of predict what someone is going to say just due to the facial animation alone. Overall, I look back at it, it was a good, but overhyped so much so, that by the time I finished, I questioned if I was playing an early access game. Please don't buy this game if you already have it, until it gets patched or price is lowered to 40 or 30. It's a good game with amazing tech, but a shame I bothered preordering it - I will never do so again.

That about says it. Life path doesn't matter, dialogue rarely matters, and RPG elements feel tacked on and poorly thought out. Full of bugs, I've fallen through the map several times, been sent flying while trying to scale a wall, disappearing cars and npcs, t-posing, dialogues with more than one npc at a time, all kinds of nonsense. The story is alright, but the entire atmosphere is missing some key components. It falls flat when you take a step back from the story. It relies too heavily on the scene. There are issues with keybindings - there is also no way to disable the double tap dodge mechanic, so good luck trying to be sneaky on ledges.

I did write a big long detailed review of this but realised i was well outside the character limit so here is the quick and dirty version The Good - - The world itself is beautiful and has a huge amount of scope for development - The story is amazing so far. It has many branches and can be attacked form many angles - The characters are fantastic. Well acted and draw you in. In particular, Judy and Panam are stand-outs - Lots to do outside of the main story, in fact it can be essential to do sidequests to get the different endings The Bad - - Simply put, the game just isnt finished - The AI is as dumb as rocks in key areas. Police wont pursue you outisde of line of site regardless of your wanted level. traffic has next to no pathfinding so just either stop entirely when met with the slightest obsticle or attempt to just plough though it, even if its an imovable object, destroying themselves in the process. - Conversations can overlap each other. You can have a main plot story element playing out and a side quest will just call in mid convo and suddenly you have 2 people talking to you at once. Some are also overly persistant. The Delamain taxi sidequests are particularly annoying as if you are doing an unrelated task in the area of one of these taxis you will repeatidly get calls over and over stating the same thing again and again until you either stop what you are doing and do the taxi quest or leave the area entirely. - UI menus are clunky and feel like they are designed for a controller first. Sliding bars in menus dont slide, you just have to click along the bar and hope you land in the right spot - Poorly optimised. Normally i can do 1440p 60 at decent settings on just about any game. Here i can barely do 1080p 60 and its not even locked 60. Improvemts will come, no doubt, it just needed more time in the oven. Shareholders may have forced CDPRs hand to release before Xmas but its clear this needed a few more montsh at least.

Looks great Story is good Combat is pretty bad despite having to do so much of it (bullet sponges etc) Doing a crime means an infinite number of police spawn behind you Bugs as everyone knows Released way too soon I mean I'd rather replay GTA V story tbh

I really want to believe that game will be a 9/10 if they can change some problems. I know about mods but my review is about devs job. For now i will give 6/10. The bugs are fixable and have not big impact to my rating. Cyberpunk 2077 carries many problems of the witcher 3 but the story is smaller... Bigger impact to the game: -Main quests and some side quests are very good but i didnt like the fast cinematic at the beginning and the overall length. -First impression of the world is amazing but after the prologue i need more depth. -Soundtracks are very good ,almost perfect. -The physics of the game are dissapointing including water, people and objects movement. -AI is terrible and affects all the other problems . -The interaction with the npcs is dissapointing because the lack of activities and good AI. -Gunplay ,stealth and hacking are good. -Skill tree doesnt affect my gameplay(hard difficulty). -Boss fights are so dissapointing. Smaller impact to the game: -The changes in your body are cool and i have great time with them. -Melee needs more animations and attention. -Driving is good for me but the visibility of first person camera is small. -The bugs didnt bother me so much except some side quest which i couldnt complete. -Graphics are insane but the ssr option produce so much annoying grain and we need aa option. -Why i cant change all my key bindings;;; -No walking button. Dlcs for me can be a game changer and first step to gain our trust again.
