Cyberpunk 2077

You know what? This is on me, truly. Trusting a game company to deliver an actual product they advertised. Crazy, right? I bought into the hype. I bought the POP figures, I bought the t-shirts. I watched Night City Wire play episode after episode, claiming to be the coolest thing I've encountered since sliced bread. It was an absolute flop. I can't even imagine being a PS4 or XB1 player. I'd have refunded immediately if I would know I'd be crashing literally every 5 minutes. I bought the 3070. I bought the 3600. Folks, playing with the RECOMMENDED SPECS AS PER THE DEVELOPER still leaves me hanging on, just barely. I can't turn RTX on. Ray tracing makes this game absolutely implode on itself. The stuff you saw in the trailers? Cut, removed, or a one-off scenario in a story mission. No spectacle, no polish, no content to be experienced. CRPR, you've outdone yourselves. Really. Bravo. I can proudly say I learned my lesson. I should be thanking CDPR. They've saved me hundreds on future purchases. Cyberpunk 2077 was the most disappointing thing to happen in my life, and I am amidst a global pandemic. CDPR, you really disappointed me.

Graphics: poorly optimized but still looks great on decent hardware. Characters and Story: pretty good. But what REALLY disappoints me are: 1. Leveling takes a lot of grind. You grind side quests (which are like either kill enemies, get this item/person) 2. Crafting makes no sense to bother until you reach max level (because everything you craft is on your level. Upgrading cost more for each upgrade so it's more efficient tho scrap and craft new. Enemies drop better weapons.) 3. Almost all of the abilities you can unlock are stat boosts and don't unlock gameplay changing mechanics (which leads to 4.) 4. Gameplay gets boring really fast. Enemy variety is basicly nonexistent. Some approaches to combat are way stronger than others. (Either you use the ping/sniper and oneshot everyone through walls or you just run in with a baseball bat. Meanwhile you unload 2 mags just to kill one with pistol/mp) 5. Gunplay feels underwhelming. Almost all weapons of each type feel the same (except for a few of the iconic weapons) 6. Equipment look and stats are random and make no sense (shirts n shorts > military equip, you get what I mean. no transmog so you look like a clown all game) 7. There are melee finisher animations but no stealth kill animations??? Still more to go but you catch the drift. If you want a story game go for it, but if you want fun and challenging gameplay: "you came to the wrong house fool" PS: If you happen to stumble upon typoos, you may keep them.

Buggy, unoptimised, and simply not finished. Of all the promises they made, most of the cool stuff you heard did not make in the game. I have never been a fan of The witcher series but I have been a fan of Deus Ex. So I didn't have a super high expetation on this game. As long as it work, I wouldn't even consider refunding. What's more annoying, they promise you to refund, but they never reply after the first email. Never tell me why not refund, never answer your questions. Way to go CD PROJEKT RED, BEST GAMING EXPERIENCE AFTER FALLOUT 76!

Straight up I would never pay over £20 for this game it has far to many flaws and annoying bugs, Not able to pick up items, Crashs, Missions bugging out and no complete-able, Missing frames on charactors. The game is simply put " A huge mess" and will take more patches to fix than the game company is really willing to do. If your interested in this peace of messy programing "Be smart wait till its £20 or less. There really is bestter games to spend you hard earned cash on.

I was very excited about this game, and as so many others have pointed out it's a huge technical disappointment (bugs/glitches and the inventory system.) But I had really wanted a cool new world to play in - and I didn't get that. Driving is annoying and you are better off just "skip to destination" in the end. Not much fun driving around. NPCs for the most part don't interact with you, you can shoot at them, but that is about it.
