Solid twin-stick-shooter fun!
These Alien Breed remakes don't do anything remarkable, but they get the job done satisfying my twinstick shooter addiction. The games could be a bit longer though.

Beware the Alien Breed!
The more I think about this game, the worse it looks. I had low expectations for this title, and I wasn't disappointed. The game consists of 3 parts, but they're essentially episodes telling following parts of the story - gameplay-wise, they don't bring anything new. The storyline isn't particularly elaborate, but what can you expect from a shoot'em up game. The controls are cumbersome - I recommend looking for a mod right away to improve the camera movement. The environment the character moves in is irritating. Constant, regular explosions and flames everywhere - considering their quantity and intensity, the spaceship should have been blown to pieces in minutes. I finished the first part - It took me about 4 hours, half of which was forced gameplay. I didn't want to waste more time and watched the second and third episode on YouTube. The game isn't terrible - the graphics are decent, and the atmosphere is palpable, so I think fans of the genre might enjoy it. However, in my opinion, it falls short, especially when compared to a game like Space Siege." Save your money and time and go for something better.

This is the typical games you kind of want to play because you once saw the Alien franchise and it meant something to you. I played all three episodes. End.
