I've had a strange problem show up a few times (both before and after I applied the patch).

During combat, something happened where none of the camera controls worked. Zoom, a-d/arrow/cursor-on-the-edge-of-screen, rotate camera view (both q-e keyboard and click-hold-pan versions) all stopped moving anything. The cursor moved around fine, and I was able to control combat on the things that happened to be on the screen.

When I say nothing moved, it's a bit of an exaggeration because 2 noticeable things seemed to pan when I tried to move:

1) Some colors/textures from the background moved, and

2) When I put some of my guys on ambush, the ambush symbols (sort of a shield/chevron looking thing) moved.

In some cases the best tactics I could use was to put everyone on ambush or to move them to a spot on the screen that I could see. I could not target enemies that did not happen to be on the displayed part (and in one case I found that I could not target an enemy that was under the "dot-matrix printer" scroll).

In one case the problem fixed itself when the camera decided it needed to move during the enemy turn. In some cases I managed to win the battle anyway. In some cases I died.

Is this part of the dx11 mess or is it something different? I'm on a 64-bit win8 rig.

-edit- I thought I was in a different thread, when I posted this. I can see that it does not belong here. I apologize.

I had this once as well; I'm running pre-patched version (1.0) on Linux, so I guess it's not related to DX9 nor 11. A friend of mine also told me he has seen this bug two times -- he's also running version 1.0 on Windows.
Mac version of Wasteland patch 1 is now uploaded and available on your game shelves :)

It will be up shortly but due to the fact that EVERY file in the new version is different from the old one, it will mean having to re-download the Linux version, unfortunately :(

I've had this issue several times already but it always fixed itself when the next character had its turn. It looks like two layers of graphics are active at the same time. Weird bug but not too bad.

edit: spelling

I don't think anyone will see a problem with it! Most important thing is that the patch will be there, as it fixes some irritating bugs.

Thanks for the continued effort!

I guess it's time to check out WL1 while it downloads.

cheers :)
Thank you for the Linux patch.

Just to make it clear -- version 1.1.0 is the patched version? I'm asking because Windows and Mac versions are 2.x.

That's correct :)
When the game is installed on secondary HDD on Mac (not the same where OSX is), I get an error message that says "Installing failed" when trying to install patch package.

Any help for this issue?

I can't use my main HDD for the game.

Please send us a Support ticket as I habe no idea how Macs work, to be honest :)

I don't get, why? Why is it not possible to patch every file with a binary diff?
I'm a bit upset, because first you make all non-Windows users wait for the patch over the weekend and now I have to redownload all 12 GB again, seriously?!
