Hi all,

We've uploaded the PC version of the first patch for Wasteland 2. We do apologize for the delay on the Mac and Linux versions and we will have the update for those versions out on Monday.

Please download Patch 1 from your game shelf in order to have the latest and greatest version :)

Please visit this link in order to view the very extensive changelog!

[update] For those of you affected by the corrupted files issue please download the new version of this update (2.1.0.10). We sincerely apologize for the incontinence.

Thanks!
Great! I was containing myself from playing the game today until the patch arrived.
Is older game saves compatible with this version? Or we need to start new game?
Updated the game. Now it crashes each time I try to load a saved game or start a new one.

Stops at half-way point for me...

Does it give you an error message? Does it behave the same in windowed mode instead of fullscreen?
The loading bar also stops halfway for me. Well, lucky me I was only a pair of hours into the game. I'll reconsider some skills for my characters.

Edit: it also crashes a few seconds after clicking "New game". Patch 2 needed already, lol.

The same in windowed mode: crash on starting a new game, loading a saved game freezes at half.

Confirmed on windowed mode - hanging in 50 percent loading or crashes on attempt new game.
Error message appears, proper crashdmp file forms.

Same here, game freeze at 50% loading saves...
Crashes for me too on new games / doesn't load saves. Looks like the GOG patch is borked (noone on the steam forums compains). Unhappy.
Okay, so it looks like the patch is broken :|

I'm no longer at work and it will take me a while to DL Wasteland 2 here at home, but there are two more things to try:

in main game folder there is a file GFSDK_SSAO.win32. Remove it somewhere else outside the game folder and check if the game will behave differently.

Later, please do the same with Plugins folder found in [game]\WL2_Data.

Same here, stops at half-way point. Since I only just started, I deleted my saves and started over, then it crashed at the character screen. :/

I knew something was wrong when installing it, because it took about 10 minutes for that patch to be applied.

Yeah, had my alarm bells going off as well.
