I'm all for engrossing, convincing fiction, but can someone get Geralt a danged tooth brush. Those closeup scenes where he grins and talks to people are marred by his gross teeth. I'm no artist, so maybe someone else can help me out and clean up those teeth textures to be more appealing.

Do characters even have different teeth? Theres at least no teeth in the folder where geralts other "stuff" is. So i am guessing they have some common teeth somewhere that are used on all the characters.

Edit: Ah, i see (above me) - time to make a mod soldiergeralt ;P

i only know how to extract it using quickbms, but afterwards i don't know what to do with the dds file.

It's not just about convincing medieval-esque fiction, it's that Geralt in particular is supposed to be a real ugly dude. Buff, Jesus' abs, yes, but with a troll's face that scares children away. He's way more handsome in TW1/TW2 than I would've imagined him from the books.


Besides that, the "pearly white equals aesthetically pleasing" is most prevalent in the US, so this might contribute to how you perceive him. Just some things to consider. Of course, more power to you if you enjoy the game more with a white teeth mod. Dragon Age had one of those too.

this has to be the most hilarious mod request lol..damn I didn't notice his teeth until now...wow they did such a good job on realism didn't notice the fake all white teeth look you normally get in video games

I'm just amazed we haven't had a single nude mod request yet. That's usually the #1 mod request for any game.

Problem is i can't test it unless i get a savegame where its right next to a scene where you can see the teeth. Am not gonna go searching for one... i am at least that bit lazy.

IMO his teeth looks just fine. Geralt is not a jRPG character!

I did use the white hair mod though. :)

There's actually a fairly popular White Teeth mod for DA:O though for me at least the bad teeth were more noticeable in DA:O than in TW2.

I'm waiting for someone to ask for cleaner fingernails myself.

well, better this way than the blood-splattered teeth of DA2... that managed to annoy the hell out of everyone that played it...

that's to say, even in dental matters TW2 is way, way better than DA2... :P

Why would you want to change his teeth up? You even said yourself that you like engrossing yourself. People having white teeth in medieval times is not very normal. A guy like Geralt would have such teeth as he has in the game, but actually guys like Dethmold. They would have the money to take care of their teeth, so I find it funny that he's the one with the worst.
