antihero_: Sure, but I don't know if I'll get the GOG version any time soon. I didn't notice it before (sticky blindness), but there might be some future updates here: http://www.co8.org/forum/showthread.php?t=8513
Interesting thread:
-Mod pack is now #6 download on ModDB (nevermind the Co8 downloads which are probably much higher..sales must be huge)
-Crack used on GOG version of TOEE is from GCW
-Some content may have been "borrowed" from Co8

I don't know about "borrowed" content from Co8, but the GOG ToEE.exe definitely has the same hash as the v3 NoCD one on GCW from somebody calling themselves "Hans Schulze". There's no ASCII logo or identifier in the original that I can see, but it would seem somewhat coincidental if the DRM was removed in the exact same way, and if it was good enough for Arcanum...

It was Pool of Radiance 2. I have no idea why people keep confusing these two games with each other. It's not the first time (nor the second) that I've heard people claim that ToEE had this bug, which isn't the case.
So guys if I understand correctly if I install the C8 mod over the gog version I cannot loot in the game?

chautemoc give us the answer : "

If anyone's having trouble installing, install the "Atari patch 2" to get rid of "Atari patch 3":
"

With the C8 Patch you can loot in the game.

AxDrizzt: So, i shouldn't start playing without this C8 Pack?
C8 pack fix a LOTS of bugs, and is not compatible with previous save.
I installed the latest CO8 modpack right after installing toee last night and played for 3 hours with zero problems...no looting issues at all.
Finally, with this patch, i hope that i can finish the game in Iron man mode...without a bug killing my game !!!!
In case it helps anyone. I bought and installed the game this morning and immediately tried to install the official v1 and v2 patches as per the Co8 instructions. Neither would install, saying the game couldn't be found.

So, I ignored that problem and just installed the latest (v5.9.2 NC beta) Co8 modpack. After spending a couple of hours playing, I haven't encountered any problems at all. The modpack installed and activated first time, without any errors.

I'm happy :-)

yap: After you install the modpack, do you have to run the game from the launcher and activate the Co8 thing? Because I tried doing that and it messed up my installation.
Did you ctrl-alt-del it at some point because it looked like it crashed? I did that too and it messed my game up when I tried to run it afterwards. It came up with an error message after I tried to run it. So I uninstalled the lot, reinstalled and let the thing activate properly. It took about 4 or 5 minutes but the game works fine now.
I also tried to install patch 2, but it could not find the game. So I just installed ToEE Front-End X, and after that I activated the latest mod from the CoE. Worked like a charm, my Neutral Evil party is now spreading mayhem in Hommlet.

Even the mod activation did not take too long (2 minutes?). Just read the mod notes, they explain everything in there quite thoroughly.

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64, btw.
Front-end x refuses to install for me. It gives me crap about "directory not empty" and other stuff like that.

Patch 1 and 2 are included in the GOG version.
