Robob0t: Just wanted to say I too have now had this issue, and no amount of reinstalling/ reconnecting works.

I understand that the Steam integration is a community project, but GoG 2.0 lives and dies by integrating other programmes like Steam.

I guess I'll go back to Steam until this is fixed, but that sucks because I really thought GoG 2.0 was better.

This worked for me. Thanks.

Now to fix Epic and Battlenet from constantly disconnecting.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. While it is showing as connected to Steam, it gets stuck on an importing Steam loop that finally fails after an hour and doesn't load any Steam games, installed or in Library. What a mess.

I used the solution and after a couple of retries of syncing integrations, it finally updated my full steam library.

Ubisoft Connect has been acting up for a couple of months for me though, it connects for 4-5 seconds and tries to import the library but it fails and says connection lost.
So now problem with Epic? xD

Kudo for fixing something GOG should being them selves....

I was about to uninstalled GOG galaxy all together before I found the posted fix.

GOG if you reading this which you probably arnt, IF you gona market this as all client to list ALL our game you as in GOG NEEDS to maintain plugins OFFICIALLY for the main platforms.

If not for then users maintaining it almost no person would use the client. Literally I have galaxy installed is to see all LIST of all my game across all platforms in one place. if Galaxy cant do this I have zero use for would just use web site for offline installers

And there alternatives out there do same thing as this, that can be argue does this better.

Well, tbf that is not their official integration.

That's exactly the point! Steam is arguably the most popular online gaming store, and GoG should have made an official integration before even releasing Galaxy 1.0.

They cannot do it by legal reasons. They thought that by creating a community project they were creating a gateway in the law. What a suckers.

Lol, the best advice I've seen after going through various threads is to just disconnect all the integrations and use each launcher as is.

every other fix just sends me back here after a few months when it inevitably breaks again

Thanks man, fixed it for me too!
Game Library Management: GOG GALAXY allows users to organize and manage their game libraries from GOG.com. It offers a unified view of all the games purchased from the GOG platform, making it easy to install, update, and uninstall games.

WTF am i supposed to do with this thing? Uhn? It doesn't have a .exe. I don't know what to do with this. Explain what you post. It seems everything surrounding this trash GOG is trash too. Retarded people trying to help others. What a fucking giant discussion to solve a simple problem. You all need to do something else but be here on the internet. You are all losers.
