Welcome to GOG GALAXY 2.0 closed beta forum thread! If you’re here, it probably means you’re already part of the beta or are waiting for your access – please be patient as we’re sending invites on a first come first served basis. And if you’re not signed up yet, you can still do it here.
We’re starting this thread to have a place to discuss with you your ideas and feedback about GOG GALAXY 2.0 – tell us what you like or dislike about the app, what features we are missing, which platform integrations you’d like to see, and share any other feedback regarding the app. Also, drop your questions about GOG GALAXY 2.0 and we’ll try to answer them if we can :)
We’ve been testing GOG GALAXY 2.0 for some time already in our internal and alpha tests and gathered feedback, so some of the topics you want to discuss might already be addressed by us – please check the list of known issues that we’re aware of and we’re working on.

Hello!

How to view hidden games in Galaxy 2.0 and unhide them? I've searched through all menus in the app and found nothing. Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible yet?

Filter -> Status -> Hidden

This will show you the list of games you have hidden, its in the same menu as 'installed - not installed'

Well, in my case I don't even see any friends from any other platforms. And while I was connecting the platforms with Galaxy 2.0, the friends-functions were completely grey, opposing to the ones that work. Am I the only one having troubles with the friends lists? Or has the friends feature not been added yet?

It looks great, but still many games are missing in library and in folder with installed games I have games that I haven't installed yet and other installed games are missing too. I cannot connect to Xbox Live.

Allow launching of installed Windows Store games.
Currently, I can't launch any purchased Windows Store games or Games installed through PC Gamepass. I get "Use your console to play this game"

What is the "Refresh Integrations" function supposed to do? Because it sure as hell does not refresh achievement data or new purchases. I got the free Torchlight copy on EGS an hour ago and it still didn't show up on my list in Galaxy.

EDIT: Oh, right , and also, if you have multiple GOG users using one PC(each with their own Win10 profile) and only one person gets into the Galaxy 2.0 beta, the other users are screwed, since 2.0 completely overwrites the 1.2 client, thus completely shutting out everyone else from accessing their libraries through the GOG client.
(or did I miss the "install path" option during the installation? :|)

It's a placebo effect. It doesn't do anything yet as far as I'm aware.

I just received the invite and installed the app. THe same happened to me. It seems like the friend list chats integration is still not available.

However, I can see my friend's activity (like achievements recently unlocked and so on).

My guess is that it will be added soon. To me, that will be one of the best features of the app, second to the libraries integration (once they add battle.net, which I'm told they are working on it and some beta plugin is already available in Github)

I'd like to see a 'sort game as...' option, similar to the one in iTunes. Rayman Forever, despite being the first in the series, is alphabetically right in the middle of the set- being able to sort it as Rayman 1 while having it still show in my library as Rayman Forever would be extremely helpful to me.

We should be able to set multiple tags at once and be able to migrate tags from GOG Galaxy 1.0 and steam. I'm not organising my backlog again when it's already sorted on the website.

Yeah same here, don't know if this feature will be integrated.
