We need to be able to install games with the right click context menu and to be able to select and tag multiple games at once.

I wouldn't mind retegging my games if I could shift+click dozens of them at a time.
I tried out the client and ended up uninstalling it. The clients I have used are; Steam, Galaxy, Battle Net, Origin, and UPlay... and now Galaxy 2. Of all of those I find Galaxy 2 to be the most lacking and in such a way that I'd rather just stick to having separate clients. I only integrated it with my GOG library.. and even for that it wasn't as up to snuff as Galaxy 1.

Here are some of the things I ran into:

Tags are not imported. I have my Steam library and Gog library already tagged. I have quite a few games, so it isn't worth the time to re-tag everything.
I typically view my Gog library using the grid rather than the list, because it's easier to find things that way. Gog Galaxy 2, however, doesn't use the best images and doesn't have the title text below it. I think better images plus title text, just like Gog, would be ideal.
I ran into a bug where not all my Gog games were in the list.
It seems to me that installing Galaxy 2 means I cannot use Galaxy 1... if that isn't the case then let me know, but I could not find out how to use both. Ideally I could switch between the two... especially since Galaxy 2 doesn't fully work at the moment.
The user interface icons are grey on a black background making them hard to see.
I am not a fan of community integrations and probably wouldn't use them.

I tried to find out more about the community integrations, but didn't see much information out there. For ex; Does GOG audit the integrations that they recommend? I took a quick look at the developer documentation and my assumption is that an integration can easily be made to run malicious code.

I saw GOG had this to say on the integrations: "We want all our official integrations to be supported by respective platform holders, so we make sure they’re in-line with partners’ policies and that they’re safe.". I think that's the right direction. The only problem is that right now there are too few integrations to really give this client a go at the moment. I really thought GOG would at least have developed a Steam integration on their own... seeing as that client holds so much market share it would make sense to do so at least to get initial buy in.
The list view should show if a game supports cloud saves and the size on disc.
When installing a game, it should show how much HDD space you've left.

The tags issue is reason enough to uninstall it.

When uninstalling multiple games at once, it seems to fail silently and do nothing.

GOG Galaxy 1 would simply not let you uninstall more than one at a time but GOG Galaxy 2 lets you but doesn't work.

Origin connection sorta broke. It can still launch games but it doesn't update playtime.
I'M IN WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :D

Client looks nice and it is snappy.
Missing some QoL functions, but still, I like what I see so far.

Uuuuuuuhhhhh feedback I guess:

- Importing tags/categories already set on Steam would be sweet;
- Can't launch any Epic Game Store games, it redirects to their "download launcher" page;
- Adding non-client-specific games is a feature that is certainly coming right, RIGHT?
+having Sourcemods folder being scanned would also be cool;

Don't have friends so can't provide much feedback on that front.

Oh, thanks for the invite. <3

Games that are owned on multiple platforms should be merged together. The UI should also give a breakdown of the playtime on each platform.

Steam has a feature of adding your own games that are not bought on Steam. I'd love it if GOG had the same function.

Will you be adding trophies and achievements for ps3 and xbox 360 as well? Also have you thought about integration with Game Collector from https://www.collectorz.com ? I have been using this software for years to keep track of my classic physical game software and hardware all the way back to the Atari 2600.
Currently enjoying GOG 2.0, its a good update and im almost ready to ditch Playnite, only 3 things i would like from it in terms of the launching/installing of games.

- Allow us to group duplicate games together (e.g. i own Cultist Simulator on both steam and GOG, giving them a single entry with the install button letting me pick from which client to install from)

- Emulator launching support

- Twitch, gamepass and manual install support

aside from these 3 things i love the update so far, and cant wait to see what you make of the software

I was going to suggest a badge to indicate the service, but while a badge on the game image would be good, grouping the games with the ability to set the default version would be even better.

I would think Emulator launching support would be a great community integration plugin project.
Really liking it so far, the UI is beautiful, the information is all where it needs to be and I had no problems syncing my library with around 400 games all in all.
I'd like to be able to create my own custom bookmarks with multiple games, like "playlists" if you will, I haven't found a way to do that yet but I might just be stupid. Also I'd love to group some game titles together into one, for example Black Ops 2 has three titles (MP, SP and Zombies), and it would be nice to be able to just group them into one "Black Ops 2" title.

Really impressed so far though, can't wait for the full release

According to the devs, this is planned for Galaxy too.

You can, set up your desired filter then click the bookmark button on the top left of the window.
I don't currently see a way to hide the "Recently Played by Others" section on the Recent page, but this would be really nice to have. I gain no benefit from seeing a list of Apex Legends, Fortnite, Warframe, Destiny 2, and whatever else happens to be the jeu-du-jour. I know other people are playing those, but I'm not. It's just a waste of space for me, which could be better used to show me twice as many of my recent games, or maybe something else useful. Or even just blank space. ;)

Anyway, an option to hide that (or even better, customize what is shown on the recent page) would be appreciated.
Is there is a list or place to discuss upcoming/planned community or official integrations?

Here are the ones I'd like to see added which should cover the rest of my games: battle.net, bethesda.net, viveport, oculus, & twitch.
