Welcome to GOG GALAXY 2.0 closed beta forum thread! If you’re here, it probably means you’re already part of the beta or are waiting for your access – please be patient as we’re sending invites on a first come first served basis. And if you’re not signed up yet, you can still do it here.
We’re starting this thread to have a place to discuss with you your ideas and feedback about GOG GALAXY 2.0 – tell us what you like or dislike about the app, what features we are missing, which platform integrations you’d like to see, and share any other feedback regarding the app. Also, drop your questions about GOG GALAXY 2.0 and we’ll try to answer them if we can :)
We’ve been testing GOG GALAXY 2.0 for some time already in our internal and alpha tests and gathered feedback, so some of the topics you want to discuss might already be addressed by us – please check the list of known issues that we’re aware of and we’re working on.

I finally got an invite. On the day I leave for a 4 day vacation... great timing :D I was still able to install and connect the most popular launchers. I still have to figure out how to connect the ones not listed. I sort of expected to have other platforms listed for a game i own on multiple platforms. For example: I have Overcooked on psn,steam and egs. It shows three entries, but when I click on one there is no information of also having x game on y platform. Maybe I missed it?

Предлагаю перед попыткой установки gog 2.0 на версии windows 7 выдавать ошибку о том, что это не поддерживаемая версия windows. Я увидел, что он не поддерживает windows 7 и всё же решил попробовать и меня удивило, что он всё же установился. Прошу сообщить будет ли поддержка windows 7? Если нет, то останется ли возможность использовать gog 1.2, когда 2.0 выйдет в полноценный релиз. ЗЫ Есть ли тут вообще рускоговорящие люди/одмены?

I suggest before installing gog 2.0 for windows 7 that gives out error of not compatible windows version. I saw that it is not compatible with windows 7 but still I tryed to solve the problem and i was surprised that it could install itself correctly. I want you to notify me when this program will be windows 7 compatible. If its not will it be possible to use gog 1.2 when 2.0 finally released?

I've had the app for more than a few days now but still cannot find where all my friends are grouped.

Привет. Аналогично, только сегодня получил инвайт, поставил на Windows 7 и только потом увидел на странице скачивания, что вроде как требуется Win 8. А вообще пока связал со Steam и никаких проблем не испытываю, разве что временное сокращение некоторого функционала по сравнению с GOG 1.2.

Minor usability request. On the login page, there isn't a context menu if you right-click the email or password field.

Environment: Windows 10

Steps to reproduce: Open GOG Galaxy 2.0 and right click the email field on the login page.

Expected Result: A context menu will appear with options to cut, copy, or paste text in email field. (Password would allow pasting text, but not copying)

Actual result: No context menu appears.

Workaround: Keyboard shortcuts can be used to copy & paste from email field. (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V)

It installed OK for me but it takes forever and often crashes trying to import my steam library. On the times it does eventually import the library the images load super slow, or it just crashes loading the images. Especially if I scroll down. If I do scroll down it always locks up the app until it loads the images. Now I have 10k+ games on there which I'm sure contributes to the problem.

I just can click the steam tab and it grinds the app to a halt. It sounds like that's being worked on though so I'll probably just wait until then to test anymore. I have all the other accounts - Origin, Xbox, Epic, Uplay, GOG, PlayStation, Battle.Net - linked and they load alright.

(Win10, E3 1231v, GTX970, SSD, et al.)

P.S. Would be nice to have a bit more customization in the public release. Also, it's a personal pet peeve of mine but it would be nice to have an option to have it quit on window close instead of system tray.

I have to say, I really dislike the new dark look. Please at least have an option to make the color scheme look like Galaxy 1.2.

Can't access though because I'm still waiting for my invitation x)

Just wondering what time did you guys sign up?
I was 1 day late and I'm wondering how many hours there are in front of me :'D
I signed up about 50m after the announcement, and just got my invite yesterday.

I cannot launch any games via the launcher when it's updating games, (I'm having multiple games updating right now!) thankfully I can launch games via the game's folder!

EDIT: The completed updated games are playable though...

I just received my invitation today. I read the email and saw that it's able to "connect platforms". I expected I could use my linux computer to download the client, but it does not seem that there is a linux client available. I really hoped for a linux client. Will test in windows, when I get the chance.

Got my invitation today. Everything got inegrated and works so far, but...

1. the app shows 63 titles in the installed category(should be 12). All bad extras belong to Steam library.

2. Wasn't there supposed to be Battle.net integration?
I know I can add it manually, but so far I got a zip file from GitHub and zero instructions what to do with it. What do I do now?

no, it will still launch steam and load the game from there

the battlenet integration is currently broken so it was taken out for the time being
