DraganGaic: I found a solution for macOS, and at least it helped me.
After the Ventura upgrade, one of the GOG login items was blocked from starting up during the MacOS start.
Settings -> General -> Login items -> Ensure both GOG items are enabled.
I can see two login items: GOG Galaxy and GOG SP. z.o.o. The second one was disabled. GOG Galaxy booted up only after GOG SP. z.o.o was enabled.
bgebhardt: This didn't work for me. Found this reddit post that did work for me. After the Ventura upgrade, one of the GOG login items was blocked from starting up during the MacOS start.

I went into terminal and ran
/Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy/redists/GalaxyCommunication. After that GOG would load.
I deleted the folder /Users/Shared/GOG.com/Galaxy and reinstalled Gog.
After that it was working again.
I assume the solution from reddit is better because it does not require a complete reinstall of Gog.
