When being a master of a dungeon just doesn't cut it.

Overlord + Raising Hell, a fantasy action-adventure game in which you become a revenant lord commanding his mean minions to ravage and conquer the realm, is available on GOG.com, for only $9.99.

Ooooooh! Now I'm really mad! They shouldn't have done that. Fools! What's the big idea, putting me in that tomb? Yes, I was dead. So what? Like death ever stopped any lord of evil and treachery before. Death is like a brother to me! Well, a second cousin, but we still keep in touch. Did they seriously think I would stay dead? Those maggots, those idiots, I'll rip off their arms and feed them to the crows. Then I'll feed the crows to the wild dogs. Then I'll make dog stew and feed it to those basterds! Oh, yes, my wrath will be terrible, my retribution swift! Minions! Minions!!! Minions!!!!! Gather, my faithful beasties. The time has come. We go to war. Ha! Haha!!! Hahahaahhahaah!!!!!

Overlord + Raising Hell presents you with a whole fantasy realm ready for plucking. In this action-adventure title you become an evil (or, optionally, really evil--the choice is your's) revenant lord that plans to take over the kingdom by force and take revenge on the corrupt heroes who ruled it in his absence. He's accompanied by a host of vile gremlin-like minions that blindly follow his command. That adds another layer of gameplay in the lines of simple real-time strategy. The GOG.com edition comes with the Raising Hell expansion for maximum impact.

You can practice being evil by stealing candy from some babies, selling it to diabetics, being sued, winning the case, getting amends for being traumatized by the legal system, and then spending it all ($9.99 that is) on Overlord + Raising Hell on GOG.com!

Wishbone: It might be a good idea to mention on the game card of Don't Starve that the game is still in development. It's released yes, and you can play it, but they're continuously adding new stuff to it.
But Giants, Sacrifice and Grim Fandango was played a lot after some time. Overlord wasn't. It just was released, it was forgotten, nobody gave a crap.

It's not the same story, imho. But ok, everybody has his own definition of a classic.

What is more imporant and needs to be said again, I hope we will not have to wait 2 years to see the sequel here :P

JMich: Seeing as you can't buy it yet here, nor is there a release thread, I don't see that as a problem currently.
It's being released here in a week, which means it'll be a problem in a week. Might as well take care of it now, don't you think?
Absolutely brilliant addition to GOG :D I love this game

Wishbone: Since you're here anyway, a comment:

I would second this, differentiation between complete editions and games which are still being added to. Of course it won't be 100% accurate, look at Grimrock where they were thinking of an Expansion and instead decided to just make Grimrock 2.

More or less. I think possibly Sacrifice and Giants have been played the most after they showed up here on GOG.
Nice game.

Licurg: *sigh* My PC can't run it...
Then it might be time to upgrade your PC. Not for this game specifically. But a PC not able to run a 6 year old game might need a bit of a boost (or a replacement).
I only played the base game so far, and I really enjoyed it. Is the expansions more of the same?

Woah, loved this game.
The CD must be somewhere around.
Already have both on Steam. Decent games, nothing extraordinary. Could be nice on 50% promo.

Fez and Don't Starve? Mmh. The Fez guy seems to be a moron spitting on PC players but I may be interested if good and drm free.
An excellent release, thanks GOG!

Woot, Fez and Don't Starve! Excellent to have Klei Entertainment aboard, it means we could have Mark of the Ninja and the Shank games one day as well.

Depends on a country too, I think. Giants was released in Poland for equivalent of 5 EUR, so it was quite popular when it came out.

Stressing this out again: I am very pleased this game got its release here. Only the youtube hint was devious... :P
Wishlisted for the time when I get a new PC that can run it. Thanks for adding it to the catalogue! :)

Fenixp: You're just parroting what I said! I demand you pay me 100 000 bucks for using my copyrighted material!

TheEnigmaticT: Alas, you forgot to include DRM on the comment.
Oh, so you're also just one of those dirty, thieving comment pirates, are you?
Oy, that's stretching it for a classic. Grumble mumble, why I oughta!
