If we win, do we get a GOG-den Joystick Award?

Wa-hoo! We've been nominated in the category for "Best Platform" for the Golden Joystick awards for 2013. The Golden Joystick Awards are unique in that they're gaming awards that are determined by the votes of the gaming community--that's you! Whether you think GOG.com should win or not, please do take a moment and cast a vote in the different categories.

Click here to vote for best platform, 2013!

Note that it appears that you need to have an account with the guys at CVG for your vote to actually be counted, so if you're serious about supporting your favorite game distribution platform--or any other category nominee--take the extra moment to register. While you're there, consider casting a vote for our friends at CDP RED for "Most Wanted" and look at all of the titles nominated for "Best Indie Game" that you can already pick up right here on GOG.com!

Of course we voted for GOG.com as best platform, but some of these other ones are devilsh for us to decide on. Best storytelling? Innovation of the year? There are a lot of good choices! After you've voted, leave a comment below and tell us what you selected this year. :)
Voted! ;-)
Voted for GOG and for the Witcher 3 at the Most Wanted :D Posting my other votes too, just if anyone's interested :

If you win will you do Linux?
How did COD BLOPS II get nominated for best narrative. I mean, it is an interactive movie, but come on...

I'd like to point out that GOG is presented as GOOD OLD GAMES (yes!) - that's how I'd like to see it despite last releases...
I voted for GOG and can we finally get some Monkey Island here :)
Voted for GOG. Even if it is ridiculous to compare digital download platforms like Steam and GOG with hardware like consoles.

Funny thing: you can vote for GTA V in Game of the Year, but this game is not out yet. Oh well, always loved logic behind this sort of awards.

Licurg: -Best Storytelling - Tomb Raider
Really now.... I think I played a Japanese hentai game last week with better storytelling than the TR reboot

Oh don't laugh, hentai games actually can have a good storytelling. Well, some of them :D

Steam vs. GOG is not likely to be close, even if you GOG weren't also competing against a bunch of consoles for no discernible reason. Well, it's an honor to be nominated, I guess?

Because for a shooter it has a fairly strong story with branching choices that have some affect

Also GOG may be the winner in our minds but against the other platforms it sadly has no chance
Witcher 3 however has chance in its category
If people vote to give gog a golden joystick, will gog use it to finally give us the golden shower of classics?
