Just out of curiosity, and maybe relieve the boredom of watching The Witcher keane, has anyone seen any new forum members that joined in 2014?
One would think this sale would bring some in, if only to complain. ;)
I've seen late 2013 but no 14.

What's keane about it:

- Arguably one of the keanest RPGs ever made, with a mature, non-linear story and a keane-ing combat system

- Beautiful graphics and an keanechanting soundtrack create a very keane dark fantasy atmosphere

- The Witcher's keaneverse is created by Andrzej Sapkowski - bestselling keanetasy author
Don't you think the use of keane might be a tad excessive here... ?

Not to mention it's being misused :p

Is there any chance GOG might give a second chance to get some of these games at the sale price?
With the weather that hit most the nation, I know a lot of people missed out on some of the sale due to power outages.

To be perfectly honest this is not the kind of game you buy for gameplay.

The main allure of the game is the uncommon setting (yes, its fantasy, but its very different to the one you usually see in movies / games / books), the storyline and the ambience, interesting characters.

If all the above fail to capture you, then you wont like it, considering that however, you wont really find out untill you actually play it.
There are games like Demons Souls / Dark Souls, which you play because of the gameplay approach they present, and then there are games like Witcher.

Thats not to say that the gameplay is bad, its simply not sophisticated enough to make the game stand solely on its merit.

That being said, I really love this game (and the Witcher books, which I've read after playing this game - I am looking forward to my next playthrough to see if I get something more out of the experience).

I really recommend you to check it out, its unlike anything you've ever played before, and you really cant go wrong at that low a price.

There was a post earlier based on some Reddit conversation (I think) with EnigmaticT or someone from GOG that stated: NO.

Haven't really been paying attention to it, to be honest.

But really, every gamer worth his salt should have a GOG account by now. Even if it was just to get free Fallout copies ;)

I´ve seen some, and looks like the promo is being sucessful at bring newcomers. Note that takes a time for most to start posting something too (I did this when I entered here, only started participating on forum months later.)

Hmm. I thought it was supposed to mean something that seems to last forever. Or something that sticks around and just doesn't seem to go away, like some sort of digital chewing gum.
