Do you want to make the world a slightly better place and be rewarded some games for being an awesome human being? It's simple: choose a charity you like from the three we have here (, Worldbuilders, and Gaming for Good), pick out 3 games you like out of 13 offered, pay $5 or more, and we will give 100% of your donation to charity*! You can also pick more than 3 games, and your minimum donation will be raised accordingly. Want to donate more? No problem--you can set the amount manually. Don't need the games, or already have them? Select the "Gift this order" option at the checkout, and make some other gamer happy. Again, your choice of charity to help:

We've added three more titles to this special promo selection, thanks to awesome indie developers, who volunteered their games to take part in this charitable action. The newly added games are: by Analgesic Productions, a psychological retro adventure game with nostalgic action-RPG feel and deep story, bundled with MP3 soundtrack, Escape Goat by Gemini Rue by Wadjet Eye Games, a gritty neo-noir point-and-click adventure game masterfully mixing Sci-Fi and crime mystery genres. Thank you for making this happen, guys!
Our whole-hearted thanks also go to: Introversion Software (Darwinia), Subset Games (FTL: Faster Than Light), Tiger Style Games (Waking Mars), Amanita Design (Botanicula), Instant Kingdom (Driftmoon), Northway Games (Incredipede), Digital Game Factory (Creatures: Village), Might & Delight (Pid), Daedalic Entertainment (The Whispered World), and Oddworld Inhabitants (Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee).. All of the devs are receiving nothing for their games in this charity but the good karma that comes from doing a good deed. Take a moment and tweet, facebook, or email them and tell them how much you appreciate their participation in this, and then you'll be extra awesome yourself. :)
*GOG.com is paying out some money as well; for every $1 donated, it costs us about $0.25 to cover the credit card fees, taxes, and other fees to make sure that literally 100% of what you donate goes to charity. So, let's say you want to donate $10. We'll add about $2.50 on top of that, to make sure that all of your donated money reaches the charity of your choice.

gbaz69: I heard someone trying to reach goal of $100,000... why isn't their a ticker for each charity for what they made so far?
Guess you guys want a little privacy... I prefer you guys be transparent though.

TheEnigmaticT: We'll actually be turning on an overall counter on in a bit; we wanted to make sure that everything was launched and stable before we turned on the counter.
Thats awesome, you do know some doubts were brought up on WWF correct? And I've been reading about them, and it seems like the worse of the three charities by a huge margin.

At least with childsplay, I know all of the funds (or the vast majority of it) will goto the children/hospitals/etc., unlike with big time "charitys" that has a paid board members.
Most of these games are not my cup of tea but for the sake of charity I'll donate. Nice of GOG.com and developers to give away all of the proceeds.

Great promo Gog, we're glad that we're able to take part with Driftmoon! :)

Since we already have an unlimited amount of Driftmoon copies (heh), we're going to pick this one up with some other titles. At least FTL. Now to choose the other ones...

Ville and Anne, aka "the Driftmoon couple"
WWF is a great cause and even if it wasn't I don't think this is the thread to come in and start your bullshit right wing ranting.

Great idea, though I already have most of these...
No offense given. Maybe I said a little too much and not fact checked a great deal either. WWF is a legitimate charity.

I hope we raise more then $100k for this charity.
A lovely idea.
It's good to see GOG taking this kind of action.

Thank you in kind for participating! Your game is one that just about everyone seems to be asking for in my giveaway, so I'm glad you have a hefty supply of them. :)
Driftmoon is a modern classic and the work of the designers to make it so mod friendly is a very nice touch. Of course I don't know about it's realism; I fall down wells all the time and I've yet to find one that had a hidden door in it.
Great thing that you decided to do this. But it would be nice if the page remembered my picks when I logged in. I picked 3 games I wanted, logged in, page got refreshed automatically, then I click checkout. Only after paying I notice I didn't actually get the games I originally picked. I got the 3 from top of the list of which only one of them was a game I wanted.

Please, to avoid this happening in the future. Either make it so it doesn't automatically pick for us the 3 on the top or make it remember what we picked before.
