Just a note in passing about the Humble Store.

They have a few more DRM-Free games not found at GOG.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/search?sort=discount&hmb_source=store_navbar&drm=download

I like the look and price of nail'd found at the bottom of the 3rd page at left. Great maybe if you like off-road Trail bikes (Trikes, Quads).
Perhaps the worst thing about the Zoom Platform, is there doesn't seem to be any easy way to work out what has recently been added, and it is tiring scrolling that huge list every visit.

It would be easy their end to do a recently added page of links. It wouldn't need to be sorted, just listed in the order of addition. And the web address for the game list is unhelpful, with no apparent way to jump to each page, just requires you to scroll and wait for each new page to appear. It is crap like that which makes me feel they aren't all that serious.

What sort of a web page is the following.

https://www.zoom-platform.com/search/any/any/any/any/any/any/any/any

Pretty meaningless.

*nods* Remember mentioning that in my first message to them way back, and they said it is planned in the redesign, which at that point was just an idea for the future... Apparently this feature still is.
I finally went back to the ZOOM Platform, and actually spent a good amount of time there, investigating games of interest not available at GOG.

It seems they have done some minor updating to the site.
They have also added some new games.
I particularly noticed the addition of the second 'Z - The Game' game - Z2 ....

So I added a good number to my Wishlist there, and bought 4 of them. Spent $26 AUD roughly.

A.I.M
Commandos - Strike Force
Desert Thunder
Rig N' Roll

I would have bought more, but I really don't like most of their prices ... and because they are in USD, I gotta keep doing the maths with whatever the Exchange Rate is at the time.

Do they ever go down in price or have sales?

P.S. It took me quite a while to check out the games available (likely candidates of interest), because I often had to use Wikipedia to help me, especially when the description and video wasn't enough information. That and checking that the game isn't at GOG, and why that might be.

P.S.S. I have the other two A.I.M games as freebies via IndieGala ... I may have missed the first one there or it was before I joined. I have the other Commandos games here at GOG ... all except the newest, not available there or here.

Z and Z2 must have been added over the weekend. They weren't there when I looked last week. Good to see they are releasing some new games. The word on their Discord channel is that they are talking to Red Candle and hoping to release Devotion as well in the near future.

Word from the Discord grapevine is that they are planning to start doing sales, although I don't know when it will happen.

That could be good if it happens.

I wasn't sure about 'Z - The Game' as I already have that here at GOG (and on disc in a BIG box) ... so it wasn't on my radar.

P.S. Gawd, I had to post 3 times before the post appeared ... with 3 copies in it of course. That hasn't happened here to me for ages. No amount of refreshing or closing the page fixes it, but no doubt a browser restart would.

You sure it wasn't just the old first-post-on-a-new-page bug?

Odd, I was quite sure I saw Z (the first one) there before, and I haven't checked in quite a while...

Not aware of them having had sales so far, at least...
Are we talking about Z and Z2 in their original true form or the *newly made tweaked for phones edition*?

It was that indeed, but that hasn't happened to me in many months now, and I often do a post that ends up as first on a new page.

No idea. What's the one at GOG?

ZOOM Platform don't give much game detail, so you would need a response from someone who has gotten it from them and played it. I've done neither.

The worsened editions of course (but GOG have only Z1 game compared to Steam with Z1 and Z: Steel Soldiers) from
god awful TickTock Games. I have nothing against cell phones not unless it ruins my PC games.

Gotcha

Ok, thanks.

They usually mention the DEV/PUB on the game page at ZP, and at least one game I looked at mentioned TickTock Games .... it might have been Z2 ... give it a gander.
For anyone who is interested, Zoom Platform are working hard on releasing a load of new games on their site. The following games have either been released recently or will be soon:

Actua Ice Hockey
Actua Tennis
Apache Longbow
Arthur's Knights 1 - Tales of Chivalry
Arthur's Knights 2 - The Secret of Merlin
Black Hole, Complete Edition
Black Moon Chronicles
Creatures Albian Years
Deep Sky Derelicts
Devil's Hunt
Eternity the Last Unicorn
Fall of the New Age
In Fear I Trust
Lords of the Realm, Royal Edition
Mystery Castle, The Mirror's Secret
Namariel Legends Iron Lord, Premium Edition
Order of War (French)
Renoir
Sea Dogs (Russian)
Sea Dogs, City of Abandoned Ships
Shiny, Deluxe Edition
The Book of Desires
Through the Woods
Twilight City
Witch's Pranks, Frog's Fortune

Several of these also have multiple different language versions, besides English. ZP are also working on a load of other new games besides these. They have quite a large backlog, which they are working through steadily.
Would be nice if this would show up on site...

I don't think the number of games in the catalogue has changed in the last 6 months (N=379), certainly not significantly.
I like seeing them do well. I've seen the comments posted elsewhere on this forum about how DRM schemes, cosmetic content locked behind DRM, et al are simply part of the "evolution" of gaming! Which, I guess, in a sense, is true...in evolution, not every mutation is necessarily "good"! So I am glad at least a different store has not adopted such mentality.
