tfishell: We're getting an indie today and Turok 2 tomorrow.

Impaler26: I hope Turok 2 is not the only "classic" release tomorrow. It will be way overpriced just like the first one. :D
I wouldn't get your hopes up; I think GOG would want to focus on T2 and not have anything take attention away (other than Full Throttle pre-order). The reason the games are expensive is because there's multiple licenses and (I think) extra work put into these remasters. But it will get down to $10 eventually.

I don't like remasters anyway and even 10 bucks is too much for an old FPS.

I'd prefer to just get the original version of the game modified to work on modern PCs. After all that's the kind of games i want to buy on GOG. ;)

I think the original would be $9.99 if it were released here (evidently both 1 & 2 are supported by nGlide), so I assume you probably wouldn't buy the original on release either. But that's just theorizing. *shrug*

And don't you have a ginormous backlog both here and on Steam? ;-P
Games in general are too niche ;)

So lets fill this niche. ;)
Last week was bad with only one release, but unfortunately that wasn't surprising because of the sale. This week is even worse so far, and for no real reason. I hate when GOG does this.

Indeed sadly the drought is real.

Last week was a indie game called Party Hard
and this week it looks like we got Orwell and Future unfolding.....
Not really my thing, hopefully Turok 2 can spice things up.

Kona is supposed to release on Friday (leaving In Dev).

Nice! it's always great to see games leave the in dev. program, I have really liked the addition of it on gog.

Orwell came out two weeks ago.
Still waiting for Gremlins Inc. I like to play a boardgame and this looks nice as I can judge from gameplay videos.

Wasn't that the game where the dev. made the AI online only and then later reconsidered and promised to make a gimped offline version?

Aye, I stand corrected.

The sad part is that it's still the third most recent release.

And everything for the last half month or so has been kinda bad, regardless. Makes me want to believe they're gearing up for a new publisher announcement tomorrow, but... well, I know better.
