PanzerAzelSaturn: My favorite N64 games are Ogre Battle 64 and Harvest Moon 64. Conker's Bad Fur Day is good for a platformer, but I'm not a fan of the genre. Those are probably the only games on the system I would ever bother to replay at this point. Paper Mario certainly isn't bad, but out of the Mario RPG games it's one of the weaker titles, IMO. Most of the remainder of the decent games have better versions on the Gamecube or Dreamcast, so it's hard to recommend anything that has a newer version or is multi-platform. I was definitely a Sega fan and got my N64 late (whenever the Pikachu version released in Japan, as that's the one I have.) Definitely my least played system, but Ogre Battle 64 and Harvest Moon 64 are actually two of my favorite games, so it was worth it in the end :)
EBToriginal: Blast Corps is always a good one to recommend, no ports else where and fairly different from most other puzzle games. But yeah, if you love flawed but very fun games it is great. You also have to really appreciate a challenge and not mind redoing levels. So, for someone looking for only the best of games, probably a skip. For someone looking to experience the best of the N64 I'd say give it a try, it's a good and unique game.
I should also admit that I really enjoyed Pokemon Snap. It's short and easy, but I actually had a great time with it! Definitely not for everyone, but I'm not everyone :)
