You think calling people from the USA "Americans" is odd?
Calling people from the Netherlands "Dutch" is even weirder. Who ever came up with that?

The people who were alive before Holland and Netherlands were used... I knew Dutch is the same origin as Deutsch, did a quick search and found this which may or may not be interesting for you:
Why Are People from the Netherlands Called Dutch?
Out of interest: do you prefer Holland? or Netherlands? or not have a preference?

Randalator: This is no joking matter. Go ahead and have your tap water tested. Dihydrogen monoxide levels are through the roof.
Water is one of the most serious matter that many 'westerners' take way too lightly. The last thing I read on the subject was about the large quantity of oestrogen that cannot be filtered from tap water.
Past the *funny bits* (way more female fish in The Seine after Paris), there are a lot of potentioal cancerous related health issues which are more than annoying.
On the other hand, worrying about radiations while not washing one's hands after putting gasoline in your car is having wrong priorities. Radioactivity should be the least of anyone's concerns in everyday's life (don't go on a hike in granitic mountain areas !)
Firstly, he was called "The King", and secondly, he's not dead !

That the authorities who purport to know what is safe and what is not are deceitful liars who hide the truth so they can fill their pockets with money while exploiting the working-person and if too much truth starts to get known, they are willing to kill to cover it up and they re-hire people who they can keep quiet/won't rock the boat and will report what they want reported and not the truth. It's like the relationship between drug companies and the FDA, the FDA being completely under the control of the giant corporations they are supposed to regulate.

Randalator: What does a whistleblower who uncovered massive and criminal breaches of health and safety regulations in a nuclear facility have to do with anything I or you just said?

I wouldn't call what most people do "living." I call it "being a cog in the system and not knowing what it is to actually be ALIVE." We're also shortening the lives of most species on the planet and hurting the planet as a whole by the way we live. We're a cancer to the planet, just because the cancer has gotten more advanced, does not mean it is "better."

Cool. By the way, what is "being alive" already ?

I'm cool so long as he doesn't play the "sophisticated" card. If that happens I'm going postal. :D
And as a cancer survivor I object to the analogy. My cancer wasn't anything like the humans I know, though it was always telling me to buy Sacrifice, but that might have just been a side effect from the Lorazepam.

Fascists would be appropriate, if it weren't for the fact that the rest of the world seems hell bent on following us there too.
