Regarding Shantae Half-Genie Hero - Ultimate Edition, Matt Bozon of WayForward says:
"We've have previous games release on GoG. However we do not have a GoG announcement specifically at this time. If that changes we will be sure to let you know. :)"
Usually when people asked about the game, they just straight up said that there were no plans for a GOG release, so this is actually an improvement.
https://twitter.com/WayForward/status/993599979800285184 And with profiles being public, we can snoop on industry figures, if we can guess that their GOG username is the same or similar as their Reddit, Twitter, etc. name. So...
Tom Happ, developer of Axiom Verge, has a GOG account with 1 invisible game, which means its something unreleased. So, he's almost certainly bringing the game to GOG eventually.
We can also see this with
Toge Productions, which has 2 visible and 1 invisible game. They were recently added to the company list as well, likely for Infectonator 3: Apocalypse, which I had mentioned in the 'unofficially' confirmed thread.
There's also a bunch of Microsoft folks including
Phil Spencer,
Mike Ybarra, and
Kevin Gammill, who are mutually GOG friends. Some of them have joined only recently, and some don't own any GOG games at all. All of this could just somehow be related to Gwent or something, or it could be something more. Or they could all be someone's alts for down-voting other people or up-voting stuff on the wishlists, who can know really. Just food for thought. :)
