timppu: So... does it mean you'll be mostly independent as far as electricity goes? At that point I'd buy an electric car as well (but then I guess the gas prices in US are always so super low compared to here...).
On an annual net basis with a grid tie, yes, but not really off-grid livable over the winter.

We over-bought by about 25-30% generation, so on paper an electric car would make decent sense. And we're thinking about it. But the main goal is to transition from liquid propane heat to electric. That 25% margin won't be enough electricity to make a 100% swap, but it could cut it down by a significant amount. More-so than our gasoline prices, LP can have some really wild price swings. And this big shop can surely suck up a lot of LP over a cold winter like 2017-18, even with the thermostats sitting at a low 7-8C / 45F.

But yeah, electric car is being considered for some future date. It wouldn't work for most of my long-distance business travel but could surely handle nearly 100% of my wife's annual driving and all of my local errands.
I bought cloth, textile glue, some thick, stiff, and some felt-like material to make a wizzard hat. I also started making said hat, building the basic shape out of the thick material.
Additionally, I bought decorative bands and a golden cloth to cut wizzardly shapes out of, then I sewed the bands to the cape and robe I had made earlier.
The robe's done, the cape needs wizzardly shapes, and I need to finish the hat, complete with an 8-pointed star and the word "wizzard" (or maybe the Swedish equivalent, "trolllkarl", I'm not quite sure yet), I just hope I manage to finish the costume in the two weekends I have left until the convention.
Weapons-grade uranium and a duck.

Clearly you've never bought a jet ski and a 12 pack...

NES Classic.

I think I'll buy a SNES Classic in the (near?) future, and I might even consider importing the Famicom Classic (its game selection is a bit different from the NES Classic's, and of course games are Japanese versions, including (I assume) the FDS version of Zelda 2).

I also recently bought a pair of sandals and a scarf.
A hell of a lot of snacks and a gym pass (seriously.)

CARRiON-XCII: MAGIC MISSILE! MAGIC MISSILE!
Unfortunately, the wizzard (note that it's not spelled "wizard" in this specific case) is utterly useless in any kind of magic (it's generally agreed that he has less magic affinity than any given common townperson, and when he dies, the average will rise). What he's good at, is not getting killed.

The hat's done now, by the way, with the exception of decoration.

A weapons grade duck, or just a normal conventional grade duck?

Hopefully a weapons-grade duck has somewhere to go in the winter when the lake freezes. I don't know what happens to conventional ones. Maybe they get picked up in a truck.

The duck handles the uranium and doesn't talk much about her past.
