I went to buy even MOAR hard drives today:

One of these (already bought two earlier from another store):

https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/35677/hnnqd/Seagate-BarraCuda-2-Tt-SATAIII-128-Mt-2-5-kovalevy

So now my old ASUS G75VW gaming laptop will have three 2TB HDDs inside it (two in HDD bays, and one in a DVD tray bay). Two of them will be reserved for Windows (7), and one will be for multibooted Linux Mint XFCE. Finally I will have also Linux on my main PC, and not just some ancient retro-PCs.

Then I bought this baby, an external 2.5" USB HDD (5TB):

https://www.verkkokauppa.com/fi/product/64122/hvdrn/Seagate-Backup-Plus-Portable-5-Tt-ulkoinen-kovalevy-musta

Guess what it is for??? Yep, my whole GOG game installer collection, woohoo! I think it is close to 3TB in size already, so that gives it some more room to grow, maybe also to download Linux versions of the games.

I was first going to buy the 4TB model, but then I noticed for some reason this 5TB model has a much better price/storage ratio.

The only thing left to buy for my ASUS laptop is maybe more RAM, expand it from 8GB to 16GB. After that, it is fully tuned up so I guess at that point I should start looking for a new laptop...

EDIT: Oh and since they were selling PC mice for 3.90€, I figured why the heck not, for such a price? Maybe my current mouse will break down tomorrow. And while I was at it and it is rather warm here (28C or so), I also bought an ice cream (Magnum Classic) and a can of Dr Pepper. Shit, I haven't tasted Dr Pepper since my childhood, and it still has that distinctive cough medicine taste.

Since I was sweating at my workplace, I went to buy this thermometer/hygrometer during the lunch break:

https://www.gigantti.fi/product/kodin-tuotteet/ilmastointi-ja-ilmanpuhdistus/SF496550/stadler-form-selina-kosteusmittari-sf496550-valkoinen

Turns out the room temperature is +29 C and the air humidity 60% in our office. Bearable, but sometimes it feels a bit sweaty. This office has centralized air conditioning but apparently it is piss-poor as it keeps the temp and humidity that high, and outdoors it is only like +26 C anyway, not hot or anything.

The funny thing is that according to this article:

https://www.hs.fi/kaupunki/art-2000005769578.html

office workers in Finland are eligible to have a 10 minute break EVERY WORKING HOUR if the temperature goes over 28 C degrees at the working place. LOL, I guess I'll go have a coffee break, again...

Not today but recently I bought tons of Playstation 2 games. It's crazy how cheap they are !

There is a little bit of everything but mostly games that have never been released on PC:

- Midnight Club 3
- Smuggler's Run 1 & 2
- Super Bust-A-Move 2
- Super Monkey Ball Deluxe
- The Getaway 1 & 2
- Tony Hawk's: American Wasteland
- Tony Hawk's: Proving ground
- Tourist Trophy

Seems like only Nintendo / Sega games and consoles are becoming expensive, for some reason no one care about old Playstation stuff.
A few days ago I was at a cosplay/gaming/kpop/whatever convention and bought several things:

• Cowboy Bebop complete series on Blu-Ray
• Munchkin Cthulhu - Munchkin's too fun to not continue expanding when the chance appears
• Munchkin 4: The Need for Steed - you heard me
• Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Megadrive cartridge, not emulated) - of course
• Ridge Racer Type 4 (Playstation) - been looking for this one
• Ridge Racer Revolution (Playstation) - didn't remember seeing this one when researching the RIdge Racer games, but I saw it so... sure
• Eragon (XBox) - I don't yet have any games for the origininal XBox save for what the previous owner had copied to the HDD, and this seemed the most price-worthy of what they had (the rest were pretty much Sportsgame 2006 and whatnot)
• Falling Stars (Playstation 2) - always on the lookout for more Playstation 2 games - except for yearly sports games and music
• Mantic Terrain Crate "King's Coffers"
• WizKids miniatures "Merchants" - these two packs will be fun to paint
