That I agree with. I also agree that it isn't neccesary for it to be on the list (due to being bundled, and updated without manual interference), and see no problem in it being removed. What I don't agree with is that being the reason for removal (but that's just semantics, so on second thought I'm not sure why I'm arguing at all), the correct reason would in my opinion be "everyone it applies to already has it".

Lol! I'll go through the list an update it...honestly most of the stuff on here I didn't put on...This used to be navagon's list, so I'm not sure what information is outdated, etc.
I'll update it later today (hopefully ;)

Here's one for you (I can't see it anywhere)...
Calibre
A very excellent e-book management system. Does a very good job of sorting out all your books you may have on your hard drive, with conversion from one format to another, tidying up of pdf's, importing book details and jacket covers from the internet, and easy one click exporting to your favourite e-book reader. Covers all major e-book readers, and some not so major ones as well.

I've found this today - I do not know if this qualifies for this topic as this is only plugin not application, but I so love it and it should be useful for every other Photoshop user (CS4+).
PaintersWheel
It is no perfect (as it sometimes cant not be used on some system configurations - it just crashes) but its free and for people who, like me, cant afford to pay $10+ for commercial version of color wheel from another developer, it is really great thing.
