Updated (finally)

Sorry about the wait
I know there haven't been new posts here for long time but...

Adobe has made Creative Studio 2 (CS2) free. The page is currently down, probably because of huge number of visitors... Anyway, here's a Reddit thread with more links and info.

It is misunderstanding, it is not freeware. Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don’t require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. So if you didn't buy a license you are not allowed to use the software.
Oh... My bad. I'm sorry for spreading false news guys. :(
I searched for info about this on Adobe's site, and found
http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2013/01/update-on-cs2-and-acrobat-7-activation-servers.html]this
post[/url] from yesterday:

"Effective December 13, Adobe disabled the activation server for CS2 products and Acrobat 7
because of a technical glitch. These products were released over 7 years ago and do not run on
many modern operating systems. But to ensure that any customers activating those old
versions can continue to use their software, we issued a serial number directly to those
customers. While this might be interpreted as Adobe giving away software for free, we did it to
help our customers."

I'm not sure how to interpret this. They say that this might be interpreted as Adobe giving away
the software, but they don't go to say "but that's not the case", they say "we did it to help our
customers". Which could mean that they don't mind this interpretations that much.

Ah, found quotes from the forums saying

"Special serial numbers that work with these downloads are included on the download page.
However, please note that you are only legally entitled to download and install with that
serial number if you already have a valid license to the product!"

So I guess that's that.

(And gods help me with the borked editing system.)

JTD121: Waterfox; 64-bit version of Firefox. Stays relatively up-to-date with mainline Firefox.

Defraggler

I dunno if this is relevant, but K-lite Codec Pack contains MPC-HC and quite a number of codecs! Plus a 64-bit addon!

Notepad++
64-bit Firefox dead. Which means no longer being updated.

Don't see it on the list / posted and I'm surprised.

Sculptris - incredibly powerful 3D modelling from the makers of ZBrush (it's essentially a sripped down to essentials ZBrush I suppose).

Attched is my first attempt with it.

It means you look elsewhere for 64-bit. There's Waterfox, and Cyberfox.
How about this? : http://www.clipconverter.cc/

It's a program you can download for ripping youtube videos. It can rip them to different formats like MP3, MP4 and FLV etc. and can also be used as a broswer add-on. The only catch is that the program has a limit of 24 youtube clips per day unless you go Pro I think.
What about WINE?
Ghostwall in the firewalls section doesn't seem to exist anymore.
I need to update this soon. It's been too long lol

I'll see if I'm motivated this weekend... ;)
