phaolo: Uh, I have both "SotS: The Pit" and "SotS: The Pit Gold Edition" now..

Thiev: Considering the uproar that would take place if we removed anything from shelves automatically, best I can do is to suggest to hide the game.
Smart move :p
Nice! (I think? I usually judge based on the comments.)

IronArcturus: Anything is better than having each DLC as a separate installer. But it looks like Kerberos is never going to do that...
Again, how do you propose they do that? Remove the DLCs from purchase and force everyone to purchase a single version? Bad idea.
good game... I thought I had it here, must be on the other service... hot water... Although I need to check if I had it on Shiny Loot as well...

Edit - You know I think I do have it here... maybe just the base... I can't tell... I need to wait until I get home.
Anyway, sounds like a good plan to me....

Grargar: What are you going to do if they release 7 more DLCs? Do it again?

Anything? Are you sure about that? :)
I refreshed my account and the new "The Pit Gold" briefly showed up. But now when I try to download it it gives me a 404 error. :-/
It's weird that in my library there's a "soon" sign on the gold edition but I can see all the files in the game.

EDIT: I tried to download the game but it gives 404 error.

A "Season Pass" edition might be cool, where you would buy it and automatically get all future DLC. Though I suspect that once this was released you'd see just one more DLC. :)

Yeah I'm getting the same error. What happened to The Pit Gold?

Thiev: Is this only GOG Downloader issue? Browser links work?
We know the downloader is discontinued , but since some days the downloader can't fetch any data for new installers...no warning...nothing...
.
It's still working for installers prior a certain date (i'm not really sure of the date)

the first person who mentionned this was TinyE so where's the problem .... ? yes the browser links works.... but till GOG don't want to mention which third party downloader could do the same job... (i know what some others users mentioned) , but i just ask an answer from a staff member...if not to much to ask .I know what the support answered me some months ago ; GOG will continue to put links for the downloader) -> if it's no more the case , well just mention it somewhere....

I tried to use all https://www.gog.com/user/refresh & https://www.gog.com/account/refresh & https://secure.gog.com/account/refresh but the links direct me straight into my library. Does that mean I've refreshed my account? Nothing has changed so far. I cannot still download the game.

tinyE: Gold Edition, Windows

This is happening with a few games. Crookz won't download either. They start but nothing actually downloads. I know I'm not the only one having this problem.

Occasionally it will start off with an actual number for KB/s but it freezes there and again never actually downloads anything. EXACT same thing for a handful of titles. Everything else works fine.

Even if we assume that there was a single Season Pass installer, it would still require that GOG maintained two separate builds; one for season pass users and another one for non-season pass users. Not sure how willing would GOG be to go that extra mile.

I'm really not sure how GOG can solve this problem with offline installers. I was thinking of a Voltron-style installer where you download the basic installer and then the addons as .bin files to be read and recognized by the basic installer, but I don't know if that's even technically feasible.
