The Femme Fatale Bundle

Blurb:
The Femme Fatale, according to the Oxford Dictionary, is "An attractive and seductive woman, especially one who will ultimately bring disaster to a man who becomes involved with her." The Urban Dictionary gives this definition, "A woman with both intelligence and sex appeal that uses these skills to manipulate poor helpless men into doing what she wants. May cause death."
I am curating a new Femme Fatale bundle for StoryBundle, a terrific collection of ten outstanding novels by some phenomenal writers. As always, at StoryBundle, you name your own price – whatever you feel the books are worth, and a portion of the proceeds goes to charities Mighty Writers and Girls Write Now.

Bad Boy Boogie by Thomas Pluck

$15

The GameLit Bundle

Blurb:
Books inspired by gaming have been around for decades, but GameLit as a recognized genre is relatively new. Also called litRPG, many of the books include stats, play-by-play boss fights, and characters gaining levels and skills right there on the page. As one of the early writers adding MMO-type gameplay to my stories (starting with The Dark Realm in 2011) I've been watching the development of this genre with extreme pleasure, and am delighted to bring you nine books from some of the best GameLit writers in the field.

$5

Temple of Sorrow - Relics of Ishildar Book 1 by Carrie Summers
Massively Multiplayer by P. Aaron Potter
Opening Moves - The Gam3 Book 1 by Cosimo Yap

$15

The Bright Court by Anthea Sharp
Threadbare - Volume 1: Stuff and Nonsense by Andrew Seiple
The Park - Book 1 by Hayden Lane
Conquest by R.M. Mulder
Chronicle Worlds: Feyland by Samuel Peralta and Anthea Sharp
Nascent - The Stork Tower Book 1 by Tony Corde
The World SF Bundle

Blurb:
Over ten years ago I came up with the crazy idea of an anthology collecting speculative fiction stories from around the world. The resultant collection – The Apex Book of World SF – came out in 2009 and has since spawned a series of books, with the fifth volume coming out later this year. Over the course of that decade I encountered some brilliant writers, and was able to watch what had once seemed impossible – overseas writers flourishing in the genre world – come to seem a matter of course.
While translation continues to pose a significant barrier, many new enthusiasts have contributed to surmounting the problem. In this bundle we have a comprehensive anthology of translated Spanish speculative fiction, Castles in Spain, as well as a wonderful novel from Japan, A Small Charred Face, made possible through the Haikasoru imprint dedicated to translated Japanese speculative fiction. In addition, we are offering all four of the current Apex Book of World SF anthologies, in which you may encounter many writers new to you, many of them translated from the original languages.

$5

The Secret History of Moscow by Ekaterina Sedia
Servant of the Underworld by Aliette de Bodard (book 1 of 3)
The Apex Book of World SF: Vol. 4 edited by Mahvesh Murad (short stories)
A Small Charred Face by Kazuki Sakuraba

$15

The Apex Book of World SF: Vol. 1-3 edited by Lavie Tidhar (short stories)
Spirits Abroad by Zen Cho (short stories)
Prime Meridian by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (novella)
Rupert Wong, Cannibal Chef by Cassandra Khaw (book 1 of 3 I can see)
Castles in Spain edited by Mariano Villarreal (short series)
Azanian Bridges by Nick Wood

--
This one sounds interesting, particularly the apex book and mostly translated short stores from around the world.

We also have a truly wonderful book on the history of the Xbox, a complete look at the rare Famicom Disk System and its games, and a trilogy of Douglas Adams-style novellas about a retro computer/game collector, as well as rare games revealed from the Unseen64 crew and a look at the historical heroines that come in game protagonist form.

The Ambivalence Chronicles - Bit#3: The Road Worrier by Steve Trower
An Introduction To Video Games You Will Never Play by Unseen64

--
I thought it was weird talking about first gaming bundle of 2018, and the gaming lit one is just above but apparently fiction doesn't count. I don't know about anybody else but I always picture these sort of history's as nice physical books with pretty glossy screen shots... hmm apparentkly the ambivalence chronicles are fiction. This is quite an odd bundle.

The 2018 LGBT+ Bundle

(Doesn't seem to be on the website yet and it appears shortly after)

Blurb:

Last year, I asked the folks at StoryBundle if I could do a queer fantasy bundle to celebrate Pride. They were more than happy to oblige, so this year I'm back with another queer-themed bundle for Pride, this one focussed on science fiction. Once again, there was an embarrassment of riches: I found dozens of new queer stories and as many writers for whom intelligent, sensitive, nuanced, queer writing is simply their normal range. Once again, there was no easy way to winnow things down to a dozen books.

$5

All Good Children by Dayna Ingram
The Remnant Fleet by Geonn Cannon
Smoketown by Tenea D. Johnson
Trouble and Her Friends by Melissa Scott
Murder on the Titania by Alex Acks (Captain Ramos 1 of 1)

$15

Eat Your Heart Out by Dayna Ingram (novella)
Railroad Spine by Geonn Cannon
Sacred Band by Joseph D. Carriker, Jr.
Worlds Afire by Don Sakers (Scattered World Omnibus, 3 books)
Mighty Good Road by Melissa Scott
Medusa's Touch by Emily L. Byrne
The Ultra Fabulous Glitter Squadron by A.C. Wise (connected short stories)
Cythera by Jo Graham

I'd take pride it beating out this bundle appearing on the website but I realise the email is timestamped 3.5 hrs ago, not 30 minutes. Its Thursday so normal day for news bundle.
It says fantasy but there are a lot of SF.
