XIII is now available again on GOG.COM!

The President of the United States of America has been assassinated and you're the world's prime suspect. The FBI, the CIA, and a gang of murderous killers are trying to hunt you down. Stricken with amnesia you remember nothing, not even who you are. You're on your own and there is no one you can trust. All you have is a safe deposit key, a mysterious tattoo, and a gun. Clear your name, solve the mystery, and catch the true assassin before he strikes again.

mrkgnao: Just a heads up for those interested in this re-release.

When originally released on GOG, back in 2011, the game came with the following bonuses (goodies):
2 avatars, manual, soundtrack, 3 wallpapers

This re-release, at least according to the GOG game page, offers none of them.

On the other hand, if one looks into the GOG API links for this game, one sees that there are three new items listed:
- DLC: Bonus Items: wallpapers
- DLC: Bonus Items: soundtrack
- DLC: Bonus Items: manual

My guess would be that a DLC is around the corner.

EDIT: Or perhaps that's just GOG's way of differentiating between owners of the old release (i.e. have DLC) and owners of the new release (i.e. do not have DLC).
Just look at your orders history; it's probably related to your thinking...or not....

If you already had the game prior the re-release, you should see an entry : (don't know for the customers just buying it now...)

"XIII Bonus Items" - the price is just wrong .... probably a default price (the price is normaly $99,99 without the discount.... no comment), i won't complain since it's free for "previous owners" ? but still....

Displaying the receipt gives an additonal information : "DISCOUNT – BONUS ITEMS ADDITION UNTIL APPROVAL FROM PUBLISHER"

side-note : didn't get anything in my mail-box, even receipts for free games / goodies are normaly sent...

GameRager: Unless that one was a second one asking for the same game I don't think they should've closed that one, as that game doesn't exist yet.

tfishell: I'm pretty sure it was the second wish to have been posted as "XIII" (so the url creates "xiii_2"), it's not a wish for "XIII 2"
Thanks for clearing that up. :)
As someone who bought the game back when it was on here the first time, it's great to see it again. Everyone who missed it the first time really owes it to themselves to give it a go! A great game!

Now we just need Chronicles of Riddick and Duke Nukem 3D back...

Thanks. Didn't notice it until now.

Dang, that ruins my evil plan to play the game fully a few times and then sell it for $5000 used if and when the EU forces game stores to permit used game sales in the future!

I would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling kids!

Next time Gadget! Next time!
If anyone cares, here is the non-patch 16:9 fix for it (directions), though the patch is probably way easier.

Loger13: Welcome back!

Hope the next re-release will be Blade of Darkness.
:)
Great to see this great game back! :D
any chance to see the old fps issues fixed with how the game framerate isnt locked and goes constantly into a jumpy 120fps all the time?
Excited to finally play this game again. Now if only there were a fix to get it to play nicely with 21:9....

Don't know if this is good but this installer has included a 21:9 option.
Just brought it having missed it when it was last here. I've only done the first three levels, but so far what a game. Loving it also its got a great soundtrack too!
Very nice to have it back. And without a price increase too! No overpriced 'enhanced' version, just the honest, good old game!

Great!
VERY glad to see this game back, wasn't sure it was possible and it was one I wanted to buy but missed out on in the past.

That said, this is unsettling: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_update_thread/post22739

Is there any timetable on avatars being restored? Are there other games in which content has been removed from a user's LIBRARY (not just removed from sale)??

I am pretty sure that they removed one track from the WItcher 3 OST.
