Greetings, Hunters!

<span class="bold">Victor Vran</span>, an action filled next step in aRPG design, is available now for Windows and Mac - complete with GOG Galaxy Achievements, DRM-free, and 10% off for the first week!

In a genre that's seen immense highs and extended lows, it seems that we're always waiting for the secret formula for the perfect action RPG. Some say it's all about an overwhelming amount of loot, upgrades and treats galore. Others choose to experiment with new and innovative ways to connect their players, or to give them new types of control over making their character one of a kind. Victor Vran brings its own answers to the table.

It's a game that places movement and action first, truly putting the "action" in the aRPG, eliminating the boundaries of a traditional class system, and opting for freeform gear-based progression. A combat-oriented approach doesn't mean that Victor Vran is lacking in the other departments either - there's plenty of loot to collect and increasingly awesome weapons to find (including what looks an awful lot like a lightsaber) as well as innovative character progression. All that's there, however, is enhanced by an unprecedented movement system that will have you (and up to 4 of your co-op buddies) leaping, dodging and wallrunning. It's a game where survival is based on so much more than how hard you can hit.

zambrey: Oh, I see. We are comparing GOG to Nazis now. Please, don't stop.
Good Lord!

Matruchus: Comparing gog.com to nazis has such an old tradition here :)
That was actually something to be outraged by. It's what made us get gog credits for the difference. We raged hard and civil like a real demonstration. I still don't like regional pricing, but it's more tolerable with the credits.

Its really a coincidence but gog changed pricing for this game after I read your post. Now its 17.99€ with 1.50€ value gog blue chips while the price of the game before was 16.49€. I guess devs noticed that gog was cheaper then steam. Ah, well.

Edit: And now the price dropped back to 16.49€. I guess somebody at gog is playing with the pricing at the moment.

Randoo: *content (the gift package itself) is most likely already coded in the game (you can enable content keys offline with steam, its content is already there)
avatar
ricki42: If you're referring to the steamcommunity post you quoted above, that part is worded somewhat ambiguously, but the way I read it is that you have to be online to redeem the key. You can then play the unlocked treasure hunt offline. So I don't think the codes are already in the game, you have to log in each time you want to redeem one.
Well, drop is online and
However you can play and complete them offline if you so choose (simply redeem the code you have).

There are always going to be users that are so against any little thing that involves online that there is never going to be any compromise. These same people probably thought the world was coming to end the day GoG announced Galaxy. Thankfully these people make up a small portion of the GoG userbase at large. Victor Vran is now number 5 on the popular list.
avatar
Riotact: OK, I know about those, There is a thread on Steam where people list the codes they get, so if you want any to use Offline, you can get a bunch of codes there, Im sure the same will occour in the GOG VV forum when people get codes too.

Anyone needs codes in the meantime :

You still need your online account validation to activate them.

Don't spread your hate please.

Currently using galaxy (it was in my first post in this topic), playing v.v and against the drm locked content tolerated by gog.

Cheers

It shows 17.99 for me. Maybe there's a difference between european regions.
Anybody having the issue of not being able to download any games from gog at the moment? Direct download and through gog downloader don't seem to work. All it says is: server not found. Tried Firefox and Palemoon.

Except nothing is locked by DRM, it's all in the game.

I stopped explaining this long ago. Experience shows it's not good to burst someone's bubble. Just like economics they go into crisis mode.

How do you access the treasure hunt/bounty then ?
The so called "replacement drop" is not what you would have gained from hunts/bounty.
You can't get them offline but they are still part of the game experience.

and the gog gift is still drmed locked, you still deny that pure fact..

i bought game dont gve a feck about the serial online code or the regional pricing. I have £2.70 credit to spend now on gog.
