fan3l: Come on GOG..... Monkey Island 3 and 4.... Somewhere there , with other Disney releases
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Give us monkey island 3 and 4 and I will give you my money in return. Sounds like a good deal? Good. Now give it here!
Since Star Wars games were announced on gog.com I've beeen waiting for this day, thank you for Star Wars Shadows of the Empire! Gog.com, the 4th IS with you!
I've got the PC cd version, from way back, on my shelf behind me. It even installs on win7. Yet, I just impulsively bought this in the last half an hour. Ah well. At least now, I don't have to put the CD in to play it every few years any more.
Heh, nice. Thx, GOG and Disney. I'm gonna buy this for the flight levels alone. Not much of a fan of the on-foot levels or the swoop race, but I'll manage. ;)
Would have loved to see Force Unleashed as long as we're getting something new, but I'm definitely picking Shadows up.
I remember having this one in CD-ROM but for some reason never played. How's the gameplay?

Crosmando: No manual?
Yes, Grargar was right. Nothing. You get just the game ...

There is a *.doc & some *.txt files in the install dir. Along with all the audio tracks from the CD in ogg format.
I know it isn't the same as a manual. I bet a minute or three searching online will turn something up..

Vythonaut: Great release, however the link provided here does not work! ;)
Sure it does! It redirects you right back to the front page, where you can see Shadows at the very top! ;D
(I'm guessing they accidentally put /promo/ in the URL where they meant /game/.)

Lafazar: Yes, mouse works by default on the GOG release. But I had massive trouble controlling the glider on the first level (inverted y axis), so I'll probably use a gamepad instead.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm also assuming the speeder bike level will be a pain in the arse too. No worried, I'll just wishlist the game for now until I get around to picking up a gamepad :)
how long will the launch discount last?

As I recall, jumping was also a bit problematic. Dash would just sort of "hang" in the air while moving forward. Particularly annoying when you're working through that really long level with Boba Fett, just before you reach the first wampa. I can't tell you how many times I ended up falling off the cliff because he "forgot" to land with his feet on the ground. (annoyed grunt) That was more likely a physics/rendering issue - not knowing when to stop. For those of us who have played the game in this release, did anyone ever get around to fixing that?

apehater: how long will the launch discount last?
Yeah, doesn't really specify for this game. Is it the same as the rest on sale?
I recommend to everybody, who buys and plays the game, to turn on the fog in the launcher.
The game engine is old and has some serious clipping issues if you don't do that.

How well does the game run in Win7? Does it have a windowed mode?
