Disappointing that it looks like it´s the only StarWars release for today---hoped for ForceUnleashed as well... :(
WOW! Nice!
Day ain't over yet. But, Shadows of the Empire deserves to be here. Game had problems with the modern OS since XP era.
And maybe will see more. After all it says: Star Wars Week...
Yes....been wondering when this would show up here. Will pick it up later today. Thanks!
Hmmm.

New game, backlog. Backlog, new game.

Do I buy the game now with the 20% discount and not be able to play it because I'm still working my way through my backlog, or do I wait for it to be discounted further at a later date, whereby I still won't be able to play it because I still haven't finished working through my backlogged games?

Oh, what a first world dilemma! :P

Wishlisted for now...

damien: How is this compared to N64 version?

Lafazar: Wikipedia says (I actually only know the PC version, so I can't compare):

The N64 and PC versions of the video game differ somewhat. The PC version has sharper and smoother gameplay graphics when using a 3D card. Both versions have slightly different cutscenes - the PC version has full-motion cinematic cutscenes with sound effects and voices, while the N64 version utilizes artwork with text at the bottom of the screen.

IwubCheeze: I played this game on both the N64 and the PC and the only way to play this title was with a joypad. IIRC, the PC version didn't have mouse support (if I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me).

To anyone that has just purchased this title, can anyone confirm if mouse support has been added and if the title is playable with a keyboard + mouse combo? If not, I'll have to (reluctantly) leave this title on the wishlist until I can pick up a joypad.

Lafazar: Yes, mouse works by default on the GOG release. But I had massive trouble controlling the glider on the first level (inverted y axis), so I'll probably use a gamepad instead.
As you guys said, this game just screams for a gamepad (played the N64 version back in the day and had a blast), can anybody confirm if modern controllers are supported?
w00t! :-D

Honestly I'm rather surprised to see this game here; I thought it had major issues on modern systems. :)

Hopefully Episode 1 Racer is in the works! (Not to mention other LucasArts/Disney games in general)

just tried playing with a xbox 360 controller. Right joystick is to move. X is to fire. A is speedup (snowspeeder). In theory, you could map more to the buttons but that's the defaults. Yes modern controller supported but might want to write down what button is what joystick key.
And so my wishlist is back up to 40 games. Anyone up for joining me in robbing a bank or something?
Well I know what I'll be playing tonight. :-) Any chance we'll see Episode i Racer anytime soon?

I'm in, if we do two? ... my backlog is 132 :)
*polishes water pistol*
By the way, somebody might want to share the game link/release on Reddit's r/games page.
Interesting, might pick it up if the discount goes over 19% for me.
Hah! Raise your hand if the giant fucking Dianoga scared the shit out of you the first time. Fighting it in those murky trash waters as this giant form starts to take place.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to know too! I wonder if it works with an Xbox 360 controller.
