There is no real win without some kind of sin.

Sins of a Solar Empire®: Rebellion Ultimate Edition, a sprawling hybrid of real-time and 4x strategy, is now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 60% launch discount.

Nothing stays hidden for long under the sun. Certainly not the questionable deeds of space-faring Solar Empires. Unsurprisingly, these deeds are of conflict, galaxy-wide power struggles and unquenchable expansionism. Of wars that decide the fate of whole star systems, fought through formidable fleets, financial means, or even diplomacy.

Sins of a Solar Empire®: Rebellion Ultimate Edition provides the perfect mix of the urgency associated with RTSs and the careful planning commonly found in 4x games. It includes Sins of a Solar Empire®: Rebellion along with the Forbidden Worlds & Stellar Phenomena DLC, bringing additional planets to explore, more dramatic random events and new deep space anomalies. The package also offers the game's epic soundtrack on MP3 and FLAC, to help set the mood for your intergalactic adventures.

Conquer the galaxy and commit your own Sins of a Solar Empire®, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com. Pull it into orbit with the 60% launch discount that will last until December 16, 1:59 PM GMT.
Nice to see it here. Will see about the price.

Edit: I never had a complete edition so never played it. Is there a campaign or is it just MoM sandbox?

fulano5321: Yes, you need a Stardock account to play it on Steam, at least you did several months ago when I bought it there. I also had to register with them when I bought it on Origin, and even had to register to get patches when I bought the game on CD when it first came out.

I hope we don't need to register here, but considering Stardock's track record...
I just fired it off. I didn't get a front loading screen like i get when starting a Kalypso game(like Tropico), so as far as i can see you don't need a Stardock account to play the game. Mind you, i don't multiplay so you might still need one to be matched.

Requiring external accounts would also violate GoG's no DRM policy.
Sins of solar empire rebellions gog edition is the french, german, etc or only English in language? Because the page of the game is contradictory.Thank you

Game page says only english fully supported and chinese as text only and no other language.
Top of the page it is written at my English, Chinese, French and other. But in detail it is descriptive writing English and Chinese only.

That is why I ask the question.

Great to see this finally arrive. Instant-buy (as soon as I get home from work, that is).

I'm quite interested to see how the titans turned out in the end.
I've been waiting for it to get released here (although I thought Trinity would come first) but I'll have to wishlist it for now because of the steep price (even with the launch discount since I spend my budget on the sale); I don't usually comment about high prices on GOG but 49.99€ is too much in my opinion.

The retail version (which contains DRM so is a no-no for me and the sole reason I haven't bought it initially) costs only ~10£ by now and it contains the expansion, DLC and printed manual so it is basically the same as the digital one. This is a huge price gap between the physical & the digital versions of the same game. Don't know why this is happening.

Anyway, I'm super happy about this release but I wasn't expecting it to cost so much (just saw it is priced similarly on Steam). I'll have to wait a bit longer but eventually, I'll buy it. Had so much fun playing the Trinity to miss this. :)
low rated
I bought this game on Steam, and while I have had an absolute blast putting over 100 hours into it, and as much success as the developers, Ironclad Games deserves, it wasn't until after I bought this game that I learned that the CEO of the publisher, Stardock, is a terrible person. He is known for being a horrible sexist, I say that not because of whatever happened in court, I know very little about that and so I'm not referring to any of that, but because of how he has argued against innocent women on Twitter and used his followers to harass and dogpile people. He even publicly offered a job to a comic artist because that artist made a gross revenge-porn comic about a woman he disliked and if I had known all of this before I bought the game, I would never have done so.

If Ironclad Games were to find another publisher for this game and/or future games, I would be more than happy to buy from them again, as they are clearly a very talented team that seems stuck with a clearly terrible publisher CEO. He is someone I feel does not deserve any more of my money. I just feel everyone should know this so you all can make properly informed purchasing decisions, in case this kind of information would be a deal-breaker for any of you from buying this game.

Ahh... Sins Rebellion. Was a bit pissed when the Sins series turned to Steam only at that point. Finally I can play it (after being done playing GalCiv... and Fallen Enchantress. And Caribbean.. *sigh* Need a few weeks off work). Thanks! :D

Not necessarily, AFAIK Age of Wonders 3 required a sign-in to an online service for multiplayer. I'd be glad if you could try to play multiplayer and report back! :)
Nice release!! (been waiting for this....).... odd question.. remember reading a fair while back... wasnt there something about Trinity > Rebellion in terms of small things? (changes in graphics etc...) - cant recall the comments made....:/
Does it come with achievements support in Galaxy?
