Same and I'm glad I waited a few hours for the sale price to take effect lol. Insta-bought. (Now I can uninstall the Steam version)

It's a happy surprise and I would be totally shocked if GOG can manage to get the 2nd one w/o Denuvo (I think it still has it), now wouldn't that make a few of us faint lol.

Telika: Yes, especially as Tolkien wasn't very descriptive, ...
avatar
MarkoH01: What? Really? One reason why I always had trouble reading those - recommended by everybody and their mom - books was that I got so tired of all the descriptions. I don't want to know about each tree and each land or hill or whatnot ... I want to have some story.... yes, sorry ... no bookworm at all - please don't kill me. I don't want to say that those books are bad - not at all ... but not very descriptive? Makes me shiver to read a descriptive book then.
I had the same experience and never finished it because of it. The Hobbit on the other hand, was much more to my liking, due to it's denser narration.

There's talk of this coming free via Amazon Prime tomorrow - I purchased it here instead so it counts towards WB's inclination to release more games, such as the sequel, on GOG...

Instabuy.

DerBesserwisser: "Thanks to GOG/WB/Monolith for actually taking the time to throw the server-related parts out of the game and including achievements - which is probably not done in an afternoon. Sadly a not so small chunk of my fellow goggers don't seam to realize that."

I concur.
Looking forward to Shadow of War :)

Mjauv: on topic: I can't help but wonder if GOG messed up or if they got stressed out by the inital low sales numbers and decided to give us a discount to rank up the numbers? I just bought it anyways...
Unless GOG worked out a deal with WB for the discount within just a few hours, I quite think it was another GOG mess-up. which I suppose at this point we shouldn't find acceptable, but I'm also quite confident people who bought Mordor full price and who ask for the sale difference back will get it.

What was your issue?

If it was a refund you'll get the refund much quicker if you take the refund as wallet fund store credit; (Which I always do as I hate refunding GoG games, at least my money will stay in the store!) if it's something else, I hope you get the solution that you're looking for!

Case in point, as this very issue was solved by GoG staff!

I did the same thing.
Played for an hour and I'm really enjoying it, enjoying the stealth element of the game so far.
Cool. I saw this pop up this morning, but thought I might have to wait for an actual sale when it was still priced at $20. I was just about halfway through with my shift before the discount got applied. :)
