Raiding tombs with Doctor Jones.

Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™, like an interactive Indy movie, is available now on Windows - for the first time in digital distribution - DRM-free on GOG.com!

Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™ came to PCs and consoles to a pretty warm reception from Dr. Jones' fans and gamers alike. If you're familiar with third person action games released circa early-2000, you should more or less know what to expect. The Emperor's Tomb doesn't do much that's particularly out of the ordinary, but what does is deliver a solid, Tomb Raider-ish action experience and a well written, unmistakably Indy adventure (complete with signature hat-retrieving action) - it might just be the sequel you've been looking for.

Hold on to your fedora, Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™ is available now - a DRM-free digital premiere on GOG.com!
does it work with the 360 gamepad? i usually hate controlling 3rd person action games with keys & mouse...

This is a good question actually. I had a ton of problems with the original release and gamepads. Particularly in getting the right stick axis working correctly. On many gamepads, the axis' on the right stick would be shifted, up would be mapped to right and left to up, etc... And I never could figure out how to fix it. Of all the gamepads I had at the time (no 360 though) only my logitech ones worked right...

yeah i also played back in the day, and there were issues with the gamepads. i played it with mouse and keyboard.

Story wise was good, and punching nazis while listening to the indiana jones theme song is really satisfying

The controls are inferior to tomb raider in every way.
Huh this one looked interesting to me and seeing all the glowing praise in this thread seems like it's promising!
Son of a bitch! Now I'm diving into my closet and snagging all of my other Indy games to reinstall those! :P
Does this game have a windowed mode?
Not a bad game, starts off promising, but I don't really remember the ending...so it can't have been a very memorable game for me.

IronArcturus: Yeah, I've read a lot of good things about that game. But how is Emperor's Tomb?
This one I'll need to buy and check - never played it :)
Yes...yesyesyesyesyes. I was curious if this game will ever be released in a digital form anywhere. I was just thinking this week that how awesome it would be to get this on gog and now here it is! GoG you read my mind!

If you thinking about picking this one up i would totally recommend it! Even if you're not an Indy fan this game has it all: great gameplay, decent story through various interesting locations with fun characters, amazing soundtrack, well done voice acting, good graphic for the time (just take the time a look at the metal surfaces in the game), it even has some enjoyable boss battles and if you're an Indy fan...well than you'll appreciate the little touches like picking up your hat after it fall down in an intense fist-fight where you beat down toughs with a table leg in a crowded club in Hong-Kong. Really just try it out i guarantee you won't regret it!

Now all that remains is Infernal Machine...while not as high quality as Emperor's Tomb, it was my first ever video game so i would buy it just for the nostalgia :)

Again, thank you GoG for bringing us this awesome gem!
Nice I can finally get a digital copy. Fun game . I've had it for years retail and still have the disc in perfect shape.

Infernal machine is another great one I also have on disc.
Love this game! I hope they bring the Infernal machine next.

Edit1: I once had a console witch prob had that game but never played.. I might get that at some point. "Indyy?!!" "like I wouldn't have enough pressure without women screaming.. also it is old school.. still I need my parachute of rubber boat.

Edit2: or was it on PC also at some point already?

I just found out my CD copy of Infernal is unplayable on anything less than 10 years old, so yeah, it would be nice. :D
The only Indiana Jones game I ever played was the Raiders of the Lost Ark game on Atari 2600 back in the 80s. This one looks way better. :)
