Raiding tombs with Doctor Jones.

Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™, like an interactive Indy movie, is available now on Windows - for the first time in digital distribution - DRM-free on GOG.com!

Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™ came to PCs and consoles to a pretty warm reception from Dr. Jones' fans and gamers alike. If you're familiar with third person action games released circa early-2000, you should more or less know what to expect. The Emperor's Tomb doesn't do much that's particularly out of the ordinary, but what does is deliver a solid, Tomb Raider-ish action experience and a well written, unmistakably Indy adventure (complete with signature hat-retrieving action) - it might just be the sequel you've been looking for.

Hold on to your fedora, Indiana Jones® and the Emperor's Tomb™ is available now - a DRM-free digital premiere on GOG.com!

moonshineshadow: Nice release. I had fun playing it and if I remember correctly the German synchro was done by the guy doing the synchro for Harrison Ford.
Correct. Unfortunately it's censored (the synchro / dubbing).

Happy to see this hit a digital premiere!
Hope Infernal Machine get here soon also! :)
I have fond memories of this one on the original xbox, even though I also remember it not being all that good either in many ways. My wallet still hurts after the insomnia so i'll probably stick to just the dig and loom for now. :)

tinyE: The only Indy FPS I've ever played is Infernal Machine. Can anyone compare the two?
avatar
xxxIndyxxx: Well: infernal machine was oldshool Lara Croft, emperor's tomb is more like Uncharted.
Old school Croft had much better controls than Machine. :D
Pretty please, bring the INFERNAL MACHINE!

tonywar93: Pretty please, bring the INFERNAL MACHINE!
Yes, please!
Hopefully the Infernal machine will make it here as well.
I... never knew this game existed. Is it good? o.o

Does it have relative or tank controls?
Fuck yeah! My favorite Indy game.

I find it odd that there seem to be a good few goggers who haven't even heard of this one. It's not like it was that obscure a PC game. Anyway, I'm also hoping for an eventual release of 'The Infernal Machine'.

That said, muchas gracias, GOG!

It is a very good third-person action game. If you're familiar with that type you should have no problems playing. No tank controls to be found here. As stated above, it's actual my favorite Indy game.

tinyE: [...] this is a release of teat inducing joy. :D
o_O God I hope you meant "tear-inducing", as I don't even want to think about what "teat-inducing" would mean.

Impaler26: I have never heard of this game before but I somehow already have it on Steam anyway. Wishlisted. :D
FTFY =P

Yeah, I've read a lot of good things about that game. But how is Emperor's Tomb?

I really enjoyed this game at the time. With the fluid brawling system, the great music cues, and variety of fun locations, I found it captured that Indy feel better than Infernal Machine did.

It was actually released for Mac too - any chance of that version being made available on GOG?
