Best experienced with a mouse.

Ghost of a Tale is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

The gritty fantasy adventure has finally scurried out of its In Development mousehole!
In a medieval world of animals, where the Mice have been marginalized by the vindictive Rats, Tilo's search for his beloved will accidentally throw him in harm's way. The little mouse minstrel is not much of a fighter, but cunning, guile, and nimbleness are forces to be reckoned with and Tilo wields them as expertly as he does his trusty lute.
steam version 6.32 gog version 6.29
Yeah I still waiting the update too.
I wanted to contact support, but page wouldn't let le post the request.
Hi guys,

As always GOG take the time to check the update to be sure that there is no mistakes.
Also, they probably want to unleash the update once all the tiny patchs (6.30, 63.1 and 6.32 and maybe 6.33 etc) are finished. So theay will give us a big update with thoses ones

(sry for english)

Care not. I want to play, not cry over the long loading times.
Patch 6.32 is available now
Developer posted about why the new build isn't up yet in the subforum. He's sent it but it took a while because he had to send the whole build and not just the patch, and it's now going through the vetting process.

Leroux: I sent a mail to their support earlier today.
Likewise! There's a couple of annoying bugs at the moment, but they're getting fixed pretty quickly

Here's semi-official response from developer for disparity between gog and steam versions

always best to wait at least a month+ or a major patch or 2 after a game's release to start playing, usually after a month or 2 you can tell how much patching might be necessary for a desirable playthrough if it's not already at that point by that point
6.33 is up, so the load bug should be fixed now.
Achievements have been reinstated for the game. Not sure who to contact to get them listed on the game's store page.

I get what your saying but in theory there should be no or very little bugs on a professionally released game. Even on release, especially if the studio has a Q.A .department.

nah, no amount of QA and pre-release testing can achieve what (let's say) thousands of (more) users can do in a single month or five

even the most basic games are bound to get some refinement, add any bit of complexity (not just mechanic+gameplay wise, but add in graphics stuff and it gets even more exponential)

learned years ago that it really can't be helped, ESPECIALLY with any game with any complexity
Gave it a spin today. Graphics look brutal. This is like those realistic nature 3D-Mark environments back in the day but in a full game. Full sock blowage. I have "only" a GTX970 but I can turn all up to 11 and still have buttery smooth frames.
