Zoidberg: DLC are regionally priced? I don't get it, is the base game regionally priced?

Oh how I crave for more transparency in that regard... :/
Of course the base game is regionally priced:

For example, $56.79 in Belgium (the US price is $59.99).

So....can we have now the Agarest DLC's?! Seeing that GOG sells separate DLC, should be a no-brainer...

This stinks of horse shit, err, armor!

I perfectly understand that people don't work for free but there was a time when small stuff like a few skins were added via patches for free to support and add value to a product.

If Techland made another big expansion like the Following I'd understand charging for it but charging 4 Euro for 1 character skin, 1 buggy skin and 1 weapon blueprint for a game they charge 50 Euro to begin with is very cheeky, petty and stingy.

And CK2 / EU IV / Every other bloody Paradox game with a bajillion piecemeal DLCs... >_>

In this case, small stuff has been removed via patches to be sold as DLC. The Crash Test stuff is free on Steam, we had it for free too, and the new patch removes it just to sell it back to us.

Marioface5: I just want to point out that the Crash Test skin appears to be free on Steam and is already included in the GOG version for free as well. Selling the other three things here is fine, but this one is messed up.

EDIT: Before making this post, I opened my unpatched game to check that the Crash Test stuff was there. It was. After making this post, I applied the new patch, and guess what? The new patch removes the free Crash Test content so that you can pay them for it. This is completely unacceptable, GOG. Steam gets the Crash Test stuff for free, and GOG got it for free too, but now a new update removes it from our games so that we can pay money to get it back? I'll defend a lot of stuff that happens on here, but there is no excuse for this. Please fix this.
Woah. Apologies. I can't completely confirm all of this right now, but after cursory research what you're saying seems to check out.

We're going to look into this ASAP.

Thank you very much for that, Konrad. I appreciate it.

Agarest (at least the first one, I don't have the other ones so I can't speak for them) already comes bundled with most DLCs that exist. But only few DLCs actually add content, most DLCs for Agarest are just cheats which you should disable anyway if you want the game to be any challenge at all.
Actually, the goddamn thing is quite challenging without them, plus there are quite a few adding stuff in the game. If you play a New game + on a bigger difficulty, the things from the DLC's are invaluable,
Hooray, new stuff I can't buy in Germany!!!

You sure? Geddes17 says you can.

Matruchus: Dead Island belongs to Deep Silver and not to Techland. As for Call of Juarez that one is certainly possible if Techland is for it.
Is there any reason why Deep Silver did not release Dead Island on GOG yet?

This isn't the first time something like this happened on GOG.

2 years ago when Vertical Drop Heroes was sold during Halloween it came with new content that reskins the game with a Halloween theme. If I remember correctly there were two versions of the game in the beginning.

Then the Halloween content was integrated into the game in a later patch. You could switch between normal or Halloween look in the main menu of the game.

A later patch then removed the Halloween content. The menu for switching is still there but if you try to switch to the Halloween skin the game tells you that you need to buy the Halloween DLC for that.

GOG is aware of the problem. See the announcement of the Halloween content here. I already complained about this to support about a year ago (see ticket Q0WBVHN if you wish to check). Support answered that the issue was forwarded to the developer who should be able to correct it which never happened.

Could you also follow up on this issue?
